I agree with the comments made before on this chemist. My partner has regular prescriptions from this chemist and we always have to wait and usually wrong. The doctor gives out these prescriptions in good faith expecting the chemist to honour them. If this wasn't part of a bigger organisation then it would have to do better or it would have gone bust. The staff know this and that is where the problem is, Boots should visit these smaller chemist as mystery shoppers and kick some ass when they fall short, which this one would do all the time.
What annoys me the most is when there is a que and no one serving, we, the customer, do actually have lives outside the chemist and I would love to work somewhere when one of the staff come in and treat them the way they treat us, but somehow I don't think any other business would allow you to treat there customers in that way.
ONE STAR IS WAY TOO MANY!!!

What to say? Firstly, thanks to the one or two good staff who are still left after Boots took over,, even they are embarrassed as to how badly things have gone down hill. Having been persuaded by the Doctor to have my drugs 'managed' by Boots, I rue the day I did. I pick up every 8 weeks, only to find they are never ready, and most times short. Last issue, I had to wait five weeks, to pick up a 'balance' meaning I had to do without necessary drugs during that period. Prior to that, for over a year, they kept forgetting to add a drug on----in the old days, the Chemist would phone the Doctor, and problem fixed. Not so with the new regime! Every time I had to waste a Docs appointment ,explain things, and was sent back by the Doctor to tell Boots if they were supposed to be managing my script--well to go and manage it!
The vast majority of people in Craigshill have become completely disenchanted with the level of service here.We have 'assistants' who will try to avoid serving customers at all costs, leaving queues running up to the door.Even worse, when you do get served ,(finally) only to find that yet again, you are short, that assistant, pus every other girl get together huddle round the computer, and spent 20 minutes trying to find the fault.
What I can't understand is how before Boots came, we had one Pharmacist, half the amount of staff, and the service was far superior.
Where to stop?
You would think that if Boots know in advance what drugs are needed for customers who have their scripts' managed' they'd order up in plenty of time. (Or is that too much to ask?) Do the staff not realise that every time they are short, we, the customer, have to do without half a day or a full days treatment? (Girls--we get the drugs because we have a medical need for them---) doing without can cause serious consequences.
As a previous reviewer said, it is about time you are all retrained--before you kill somebody. Not an exaggeration, when you consider that at times, wrong dosette boxes have been sent to the wrong customers. And who does the 'checks' on the drugs? When sometimes you get to many pills, or not enough, surely that would show up in Audits?
So, once again, thanks to the one or two staff members who have stayed 'nice' to the others who feel that the customers are to be be made fun of, shame. I have no choice but to choose a star, otherwise I can't post, but if I could, it would be minus 5- not plus five.

So, here I sit, it's April 14th Good Friday. Last week, I had noticed they had given me the 17th to go my medicines, but knowing they would be closed then ,phoned in first to be told they'd be ready for Friday. I went down later in person, to have this confirmed, to be told they would be ready on Saturday. I advised that following Doctors advice, I'd go in a day before ,to ask in advance if the drugs would be in,. (If I sound neurotic, I am. If I tell you that 40% of the time, my drugs are either not ready, short or both, you can see why I worry.

Do these girls not realise if your drugs are not there ,or short or missing, we have to do without the treatment we are supposed to have?

Many of the drugs I am on cannot be stopped at short notice, without causing serious problems.

Anyway, this morning I got the usual, they would not know until after the delivery man had been if they would indeed be able to tell me if al my drugs would be there.
And got the usual come back in half an hour.
So, here I sit, unsure as to wether I'll get my drugs, or have to go days without them.

Enough is enough. girls, if anyone reads this. no more. I am one short step away from making a complaint to the Health Board, your Bosses, and any other appropriate Authority.

All i ask is that, given you know in advance what drugs I get, you order them in ,and make them up, in time. I want what is prescribed, not one pill over, nor under,
