Went here today for Easter egg hunt, such a fun day for all the kids following clues and finding eggs then more fun grass sledging! I’ll remember my wellies next time!�
We had a great day at Born in the Borders Brew School. Very informative and even though I've tried a few times myself to do a from grain brew it never went that well. This was a real eye opener and showed me where I was going wrong. Couldn't recommend this day enough and fun from start to finish.
Visited Born in the Borders for the first time today. A great place to meet family for a catch up. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside. The service and food were excellent! The kids had a great time sledging and playing in the fort and down by the river. It's great that dogs are welcome too! Will definitely recommend.
This was our second visit to Born in the Borders. The customer service shown today was fantastic and it turned what could have been a negative experience into a 5 star one. A wee mix up with our table booking was dealt with tremendous professionalism by Chloe and also Mhairi. They both deserve great praise for how they dealt with us today. As well as the great customer service the food and the setting is fantastic. I also went grass sledging with my wee girl which was brilliant, even though my legs are like jelly after climbing up and down the hill. We will definitely be back and will recommend to others to visit :).
This was our first visit but it will not be our last. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had coffee and cake and both were delicious.The service was fast and not pushy and the price was very reasonable. The shop and the brewery were open and worth a visit. We will try out the riverside walks very soon. Well done Born in the Borders 10 out of 10.
Thank you for organising a brilliant Easter Egg hunt- the kids had such a lovely day. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch and walk down by the river.
Set in beautiful borders countryside just off main A68 river walk distillery and great restaurant/cafe nice friendly staff would recommend ���
Never a dull day at Born in the Borders; ploughing, Ospreys, Easter eggs, dry sledging. walks, architecture, wagtails, great food and Coffee, #Gin, #beer, shop....great staff :)
My wife and I visited born in the borders yesterday and were blown away. No it wasn't windy, we were amazed at what was on offer. Tobogganing down the grass slope to gin making. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return even if it is only for the gin making class. Can't wait ���
Lovely visit here with my daughter & grandson yesterday. Beautiful restaurant & great food - my grandson especially enjoyed the Melting Moment biscuit & was so happy he was singing while he ate it. We bought a bottle of the Lilllard Gin which is just amazing. Keep up the good work. We'll be back to see you soon.

It’s really nice and everyone is so friendly
Had never heard of this place til we were recently staying nearby and was so surprised at the facilities tucked away over the brow of the hill. What a lovely place!! Our kids spent hours playing in the sandpit, trying their hand at grass sledging and rollerskating while we enjoyed some lovely coffee and snacks. I thought it was very reasonable and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. Thanks!! P.s. The ice cream in the shop is delicious too!!
Had an absolutely brilliant day here today. What a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The skating was brilliant, once we got the hang of it! And the alpaca trekking was really special.
It was the little touches, like blankets for sitting outside at the picnic benches while drinking your hot chocolate and the reindeer food we got from the lady with the alpacas, that made it.
Why go and stand in queues in Edinburgh when we have this on our doorstep.

Had a great morning with the kids on Sunday at Born in the Borders, both of them really enjoyed the sandpit and running around in the plentiful open space.
We even managed to take advantage of the BBQ before the heavens opened.
I’m looking forward to our next visit already!!
Great day with the kids we all loved the grass sledging too, restaurant is stunning inside and all staff very welcoming and polite. Will definitely be back.
Great afternoon at Born in The Borders. We had a riverside walk along a beautiful stretch of The Teviot, followed by tea and cake, then the bairn had a great time skating. Great atmosphere about the place and good to see so many people enjoying and supporting one of our best local attractions.
