Congratulations to Morag and Steve who got married in the Borrodale today. Wishing you both many happy years together. The celebrations continue tonight in the public bar with Nollie and friends, feel free to call in, meet the happy couple and join in the ceilidh.

Another fab day for the South Uist Games after party in the Borrodale

Let’s hope the weather holds next week for our South Uist Games Day. The committee put a lot of effort into organising it and for course there is a lot of practice and training done by all the competitors. Finish the day of by stopping at the Borrodale and feeding the family. Our buffet is on till 7.30, there on after, we will be offering our normal menu. Pre booking is essential for this buffet.

SPECIAL NOTICE !!!!! Ceolas have a film crew up trying to capture the whole atmosphere of the week. They are coming to record a session in the Borrodale Hotel Today (Wednesday) at 4.30pm Come along and show this crew how we can ceilidh mid afternoon Mid week. Please share this with your friends and I will meet you at the bar.

Very good food but a long wait! Very slow service from the kitchen! Staff very friendly.

Stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting friends, room was clean and spacious, food was lovely and catered for my partner who is gluten free.Breakfast was great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful...pity about the weather. Will definitely be returning ....

One night stay. Clean, friendly hotel, folk where chatty and helpful. Didn't get the full benefit as had to leave early in am to catch early ferry. Will definitely rebook for a longer period of time.
