Lovely, welcoming staff. Delicious food and a varied menu. Their soups are yummy, especially the ham and lentil. Sandwiches are always freshly made with generous fillings. Well worth a visit.

Having failed gain entry at a busier time, we passed up Costa and stole in at 3pm - there was plenty of space. We enjoyed a pair of modestly priced but well flavoured cappuccinos and a couple of delicious cakes. Traditional table service presents a very civilised air without dampening the hearty welcome. It is a 'patisserie' more of the Scottish than French kind but the range and sheer honesty of the fare should suit anyone. Get your friends a voucher so they can enjoy this excellent place too.
