They rent fatbikes!

I'm so glad I found them on this visit. If you've never given a fatbike a try, I highly recommend it. What they lack in lightness they make up for in fun, and it's fun in spades. It was such a great way to see the Aviemore area.

These guys are awesome. The staff is super friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable, and they provided a patch kit, a map, and a helmet free of charge. It was great!

Popular, busy place, but managed to get 3 good bikes despite not booking ahead for a half day rental. Unfortunately all 3 got flat rear tires at about the furthest point out, so we had to run back down the trail instead of a nice downhill cycle. No obvious explanation for the punctures, but because we accidentally had not received puncture repair kits, they gave us a 50% refund. Very fair under the circumstances. I would definitely use Bothy Bikes again. Mick

David saved my life! I'm a wheelchair user and had a disaster today when the tyre came off my chair, 2 days into a 5 day holiday! It was 5.30 on a Saturday but, bless him, David was able to rescue me and 20 mins later I'm mobile again! Fantastic shop and so helpful...literally stopped our holiday being ruined! xxxx

Wanted to hire an electric bike and Bothy were the cheapest option but for a good bike. Very easy to deal with and had a great day out and about in Aviemore area on it.

I can't fault the repair, but the guy serving me made an anti-English comment. I had to bite my lip because I needed the repair done and I knew that the only other bike shop in town didn't have the necessary parts, but after that experience I wouldn't use the place for anything non-urgent.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff who are happy and able to advise on custom and unusual jobs. We bought customised surly ECRs in 2015, which have performed exactly as required.

Highly recommended, the owner and staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable on all bike related matters, including recommending trails. I am more than happy with the bike I bought from the shop, receiving excellent follow-up servicing.

We rented bikes for half a day. It was great fun, helpful staff. They had maps you could borrow, I recommend the Old logging way!

Hired a bike from Bothy Bikes' new shop at the Laggan Wolftrax. Got superb service from Robbie there who went out of his way to help me have a great day of riding when things looked like they were going pear shaped.
