Went to Laggan on Thursday with my mate, horizontal sleet, nearly didn't bother getting out of the van to get changed but Robbie turned up, opened showers and changing rooms, told us where to ride, sold us some clif bars and made us a brew when we'd finished cus the cafe was closed. He was the f'in man that day, saved our day! Long old drive home without a ride, trails were mega so glad we got them in. Would recommend to anybody. Was keen to give your demo Genesis fat bike a ride but only had a medium, get a large in and I'll call in for a spin next time in the highlands without a shadow of a doubt! Nice one.

User

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, who are happy to provide advice on route choice and all things mechanical. A small family owned business that caters for interests such as winter riding, fat bikes as well as more mainstream bike activities.

User

Thanks for the great tour suggestions

User

Thanks David for your excellent service and advice and for the opportunity to test out fat bikes for our Tours and bikepacking Adventures.

User

Really helpful and sound staff. Went to hire a bike trailer which was great and easily fitted my Cotic, and great to use around the trails in Aviemore, plus my eldest son wanted to try a fat bike and staff were more than happy to let him try it out.

User

Marvellous.

I hired a Fat Bike from them today, I booked 2 yesterday by phone, the Gentleman that answered the phone, was very helpful, and made sure I got the right sizes. It turned out I only needed one bike, as I found out at the last moment, it was just me. I didn't have a chance to phone ahead. It wasn't a problem, the same gentleman was again very helpful by helping me pick routes around Aviemore. I had been to the area a couple of times, but without his help, my route would've been very boring. As it turned out, I went up Lairig Ghru, it was a tough ride up, but, worth the effort for the ride back down. The Surly Ice Cream Truck was awesome, yes it's not good on Tarmac, but it devoured the trails, my lack of ability was the only limiting factor lol. It was only £20 for the day, I was also given a decent pump and spare inner tube and a trail guide of the area. If you're used to purpose built trail centres, give Aviemore a try, it's got some of the best natural trails you'll find. Also if you need to hire, use Bothy bikes.

User

A big thank you to David and the boys for looking after my bike. It's just done the first day of my Land's End to John O'Groats trip and it's going great. Bothy Bikes is just so accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. Only one downside - please do something about the awful weather in Cornwall boys! Tonight, Thursday, I am really pleased to day that I have reached Penrith. Tomorrow I should be back in Scotland!

User

Wheel fell off my rental bike 20 minutes in. Bikes in bad condition to the point that it was dangerous. Luckily I was cycling with a bike mechanic or I would have been in a spot of bother. Would not recommend.
