I've been coming to Donna for several years. I got into a bad habit last year of over using my straighteners. After my salon visit at Christmas she expressed great concern over the integrity and condition of my hair. It was very fragile and broken and lacked shine and condition and strength. We discussed fully a new hair care regime and she prescribed Olaplex, Moroccan oil and explained throughly how to use them. This is my return salon visit and my hair is 100% improved the strength and vitality and my confidence in swishing my hair agin has returned. I visited here for the first time today and was tended to by both bee and demi. Very happy with both ladies work, love my new hair and brows. Everyone was really welcoming and extremely accommodating. Reasonably priced � I will definitely be back. Thanks ladies!

I have had Gelish nails done twice now and both times they have been perfect and so affordable. Demi is brilliant and so quick. All the staff are lovely and there's always plenty to chat about. Such a great wee salon, they even let me bring my wee dog in to save him waiting in the car

I had my hair colour corrected and styled by Katy last week and I absolutely loved it ! Felt really confident in her and she did a great job . I really looked 10 years younger! I have found my forever hairdresser! Only taken me 30 odd years or so !! Thank you so much Katy!! Xx

I had a wonderful time on Friday late afternoon at Salon 1873, I had my hair and make up done and I felt totally spoiled, I really felt I was meant to be there that day! Donna the owner of the salon is lovely and so are all the staff, Janice is a old friend from school was lovely to see her and my make up was lovely by the very talented Katy!! Thanks so much girls, I will be back I felt fantastic when I left, you really have something special at 1873, my phone is not working or i'd post a selfie with the fab work will do it as soon as up and running again xxx

I cannot rate Boveda highly enough. The staff are always highly attentive and the standard of service is great. Having a wine whilst having your hair done is also an added bonus!!

I can't say enough good things about my experience today, from my first phone call to book, to walking in the door. Me and my sister were welcomed with open arms, amazing staff, very happy, extremely helpful and professional. We will definitely be going back �

Friendly, efficient and experienced staff (Donna & her team)that make your visit very personal. Listen to what you are looking for and advise appropriately. I have been going to the salon now for 8+ years due to their customer service & reasonable costs. Would recommend that you give it a try.

Can I just say thank you so much to Demi and all the ladies at Boveda for making my daughters birthday and first hair colour so perfect. I really appreciated the attention they gave to both of my daughters. They made absolutely sure that they understood what was happening at each step of the way and treated them with respect in a non patronising manner the entire time. They came away with the biggest smiles. Absolutely delighted with this salon.
