Don’t go, food came out in what looked like dog bowl, 6 slices of meat, cooked to varying degrees, buried under burnt chips, rubber prawns, some tomatoes and cress,, totally disappointed.

Absolutely outstanding Chateaubriand. We had been gifted a voucher and it turned out to be one of the best meals we have ever had. I will look out for future vouchers, but at 60 quid I'm not sure I'd pay that if it weren't on a deal.

Absolutely dry filet, dry fries, overpriced, slow service. All in all, don't visit this place.

Staff were quite good though they tried to seat us in a booth that was clearly too small for our group. Food was great but could have been served more quickly. A nice venue but a little over priced for what you get.

Nice establishment, good decor etc. However, like many have noted - the pricing is very high and not really with any reflection on the quality of the food.

For example, the fillet steak is £30 which comes with 2 sides. The steak that arrived was miniscule, supposedly and advertised as 8oz, there is no way on earth it was that size of steak. I'm pretty well versed on steak, it's something I order frequently, and I can categorically say this was well underweight, as was the one on my co-diner's plate. I understand the argument of 'pre-cooked weight' being used, but in this instance it simply doesn't 'weigh-in'.

One of the sides was 'seasonal vegetables'; these were extra as you only get 2 with your main (so, fries and salad = 2 sides) - what arrived was laughable - 5-6 limp green beans, 4 pieces of carrot chunks and a tiny head of cauliflower - all your's for £3!

Service was mediocre also - had a significant issue with getting served/bill etc - it wasn't even that busy.

Plenty of other steak restaurants in Glasgow - go there.

Food was excellent, service superb and great atmosphere.

User

Amazing steaks although some items are a little on the pricier end

User

The food's good, good wine list but prices are a bit steep and service could be better.

User

The meat and the dessert were good, as was the service. But the "triple cooked" chips were under cooked and it was expensive, even with a voucher.

User

Onion soup was good, sirloin was average, bone marrow gravy was surprisingly bland, service was polite, but uninvested in the business (guessing a university student), wife's burger looked delicious and she said it was good.

User

We went in for a lare lunch and ordered a sunday roast. They were nice enough to charge us less since we wanted to just have one course meal. The food was average.

User

Great service and really enjoyed all the food wee ordered. I can't vouch for the deserts though, we were to full.
The warm bread is quite a large loaf, so make sure there are enough people with you to stop you eating it all yourself!
