Our BGC Scotland U15’s & U17’s Girls football sides both had a fantastic weekend at Stirling University competing with Boys and Girls Clubs of Wales. Both the Scottish sides won their matches to lift the BGC International Challenge Shields, with Scotland captains Jenna Penman and Ellie Cook picking up the player of the match awards in their respective age categories. It was a pleasure to welcome the BGC Wales players, coaches and committee to Scotland and look forward to seeing all again next year in Wales.

Fantastic end to the Rosebowl 2017 for our BGC Scotland Girls U/17's with a 3-0 win against Wales. The girls were outstanding from start to finish with Ellen Reid 2 and Lucy Grant the scorers. Congratulations to tournament winners England. Our Scotland girls did themselves proud by the way they played and conducted themselves over the 3 days and were rewarded by winning the tournament FairPlay award. Scotland's Phillipa McCallum was also awarded player of the tournament, which is a brilliant achievement üèÜüíôüèÜ
Brilliant day yesterday for our BGCS 17's Girls. An 8-0 win Vs Montagu FC, in which the girls played some lovely football with Megan Robb 4, Lucy Grant 2, Emma Rogers and Megan Gallagher the scorers. Then onto the stadium tour at Newcastle United's St.James' park üåü #teamscotland
