Nice batter on the fish only down side is having to wait too long and then clothes smelling of frying

All cooked freshly on order, which means your fish hasn't been sitting for ages in the heated display.

Disappointed, given the 5 star reviews. The shop looked better inside than out but the fish looked better outside than it tasted inside. Perhaps it's the breading that can dry fish out a bit which I have noticed elsewhere but I couldn't taste the salt and vinegar either so...underwhelming.

After a fifty year stint in edinburgh my wife decide she wanted a red pudding supper and as you cannot get them in edinburgh it was a trip back to our place of birth kelty and boy we were not disapionted the suppers were excellant i sincerely recommend this chippie it did
turn back the clock for us as arnie would say i will be back
