Bramble Cottage Burton Bradstock Description
Bramble Cottage is a Grade II listed thatched stone cottage situated in the heart of beautiful Burton Bradstock. Sitting right on the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, Burton Bradstock is a picture postcard traditional village, full of pretty thatched cottages, a local village store, post office and two traditional public houses, which are reputed to serve mouth-watering locally caught fish and delicious local ales.
The cottage is known to be one of the oldest in this pretty village having been built some 350 years ago and is an ideal location for beach holidays, walkers and fossil hunters.
The cottage has been brought right up to date with an extensive renovation project, seeing a new kitchen, bathroom, decorated throughout and furnished with new furniture. Bramble Cottage now offers all the cosiness of a traditional Dorset Cottage, with the modern touches that make it a relaxing home from home. It sleeps five people with the master bedroom being available either as a super king 6ft wide or as twin single beds, the second bedroom enjoying a king size double bed and the third bedroom a single bed. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.
The cottage also has a secluded courtyard to enjoy breakfast and a garden with a patio and lawned area. Supervision of children in the garden is recommended.
An outing to West Bay, which is less than 2 miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour, the popular Broadchurch filming locations and a chance to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters. Bridport is just 3 miles away and has a busy farmers market and weekly antiques and collectables market. If your passion is golf, visitors are made welcome throughout the year at the nearby West Dorset Golf Club. Bramble Cottage is the perfect location for a family or friends to enjoy a break exploring the iconic Dorset Jurassic coast.
