Branch Social Research

branch social research is a social research collective which aims to extend the branch of academic research - and impact - to the places, issues and organisations that matter. Based predominantly at the University of Glasgow, our researchers bring together a host of experience from academia, the third sector, and policy. At our core, branch uses a human-rights based approach to research and it is our aim to elevate the voice of marginalised communities (some of which our researchers are from) and advance the realisation of human rights. We have worked with a range of organisations to do this including the British Red Cross, the UK Parliament, Inclusion Scotland, the Health and Social Care ALLIANCE and many more local and national organisations.
