Friendly pub with good beer and excellent food. Reasonably priced

This was my second visit to this 'establishment' and I can categorically say that it will be my last. I will start off with the positives (there aren't many) the female bar staff and quiz host were welcoming, polite and friendly. Unfortunately, on both occasions my visits were completely ruined by the aggressive, intimidating 'owner' who likes to abruptly humiliate his customers in front of others. He enjoys arguing and speaking in a derogatory manner to women. I found his attitude extremely unpleasant with no regard for customer satisfaction. I begrudge giving this 'family run establishment' a one star review as it deserves zero.

Would be a nice pub to visit for a pub quiz, however the owner is the rudest person I think I have ever met. He appears to love to pick fights with his customers and has obviously never been given customer service training. The pub quiz was great, until the power hungry owner decides to humiliate customers in front of all other occupants. This could be such a lovely pub, unfortunately the owner which he loved to let everyone know about is a dick.

Great pub, brilliant atmosphere, massive selection of alcohol, pool table and plays sports.

Real ale in good condition. As part of a fairly large group we were made to feel very welcome and complimentary sausage rolls and sandwiches were provided.
