**ANNOUNCEMENT**
In light of events at Aintree this weekend, Blackpool Breaks would like to announce that we will no longer be participating in the Grand National weekend. For too long, we have buried our head in the sand with regard to the cruelty involved in the "sport" of horse racing, and we are ashamed to say we did not take into full consideration the welfare of the animals involved. Three horses lost their lives this weekend, which in our opinion, is three too many fo...r a nation who call ourselves animal lovers. Overall we believe public opinion of the sport has changed in recent years, with many coming to the conclusion that the use of animals in sport has no place in a civilized society. We will still be running our usual Blackpool express service on this particular weekend, and we have lots of exciting new things happening in 2019. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal customers who have travelled with us to Aintree in the past, and wish you the best of luck for the future. Sorry, I meant to write this when my husband and I got back from our break in May, which we won through a Breaks2go competition. But life got in the way. We had a fantastic time at the Craigydon hotel and the room, staff and all was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend the hotel as they couldn't do enough for you. And special thanks to the bus drivers who were second to none, and a special thanks to the Breaks2go staff for everything. Will be back...��

Returned today after a brilliant weekend at the Blackpool & Grand National weekend. The bus was spotless, the driver was very friendly and obliging and the Stuart Hotel was lovely, a perfect place to stay. We would definitely travel with you again.....hopefully soon, you are to be recommended and you really do deserve a 5 ⭐️rating. Thank you! 😀

My boo and I had a outstanding time in Donegal for hogmany hotel . food. facilities travel entertainment all superb this is 2nd time we have gone on holuday with bteaks to go thoroughly enjoyed ourselves met lots of amazing people coach driver was awesome thankyou breaks to go for making treasured memories possible for us .can't wait for the next amazing trip . Just returned from an excellent new year break at Britannia Country House Hotel Didsbury. The driver John was extremely friendly and helpful really nice person, the rooms were clean, the food was good and the new year banquet excellent with little extras. Staff lovely in restaurant and bars. Prices were reasonable too for a hotel.. Have been to this hotel three times for a new year break and haven't found any faults. For the price paid at new year - excellent value.

Just back from a weekend with Breaks To Go. George our driver was 1st class really friendly ,coach spotless .From start to finish excellent service ,will most certainly use your company again .Craig Y Don hotel great entertainment fantastic ,Christain and Tommy Twigg made the weekend so enjoyable .

Just back from a weekend break at Craig y don Blackpool. Fun started as soon as we got on the bus .driver Alan was great .played brillant music joined in with everyone.made sure everyone was ok.was very helpful and thoughtful .the hotel was very clean food was good .staff were very pleasant and helpful. Entertainment was 1st class.we didn't want to come home .bus journey home was same full of fun ��allan .can't wait for our next trip .

Highly recommend this company, just back from a weekend at the craigydon blackpool, and shopping trip to chesire oaks. Great value for money, drivers were fantastic, hotel was spotless and great entertainment. We will definitely be booking another trip. Thanks for a great weekend.

Hi there i am just back from the grand national weekend can i just say what an excellent company from start to finish very well organised the driver was first class john picked is up in edinburgh he was amazing and we had our 10 year old daughter with us who was the only child on the coach and he went the extra mile to make her feel very involved indeed the group on our coach was excellent the hotel we stayed in the stuart was brilliant 10 out of 10 i could not fault it atall what a great deal and brilliant company thank you again this was our first time will deffo be booking for next year thanks again feel free to share or post

First time travelling with Breaks last week having previously used Promotions (less said the better).



Bus from Marshalls Executive Travel was spotless and the drivers (Danny & George) made the journey enjoyable from start to finish, always made sure we knew exactly how the timing was going.



Stayed at the Craig Y Don hotel which I highly recommend. Staff were fantastic and spotless hotel even when power went out at tea time on Thursday they went to the Chippy and made sure we had chips for tea.



Overall highly impressed with the company and the coach company used, looking forward to our next trip in January

Blackpool breaks and breaks to go is good value for money good hotels and excursions are good as I went to Torquay and got picked up from my home and take you to coach and when you return he taxi is there to take you home Watch out vipsigns

Blackpool breaks and breaks to go are a first class company Paul trica and staff are a pleasure to deal with very helpful the coaches and drivers also are very good plus the Craig y don hotel is the best ever great food spotless hotel n fantastic staff

Great holiday but 16 pensioners now left in a cold bus station because the minibus driver is on his break !!!!

Value for money but changing travel arrangements and adding excursions on day of travel is unreasonable especially when your due to travel in two days. hotel we stayed in at Blackpool was run down in areas. Room had no cold water so no toilet but owner informed us the "shower still works" when we complained. How would we flush our toilet I wonder. Moved to another room with paper missing on parts of the wall iron burns on carpet as well as bleach, no bin no toilet toll no towels. Went from bad to worse!!! This room should NEVER be used. food was good plenty to chose from. Girl who served our meals was the only member of staff who interacted with us entire time. still unsure as to who the owners are in fact. Travel down was excellent!!! Great crowd on the bus and great driver. Would use company again

Journey down from Hamilton stopped 1/2 hour Gretna services rather than old blacksmiths(closer to Motorway) good fast and arrived at 1-50at hotel Had a nice stay at the Park house hotel, But as usual coach took over 5 1/2 hrs on the return journey to Hamilton because of stopping and drop off at six hotels before making for the M55 and M6 to Scotland again stopped Gretna services which I find far superior. The coach down and up was hired from Ladywell coaches and there drivers and couriers wer good and entertaining.



Suggest a central drop off point for al passengers whether going on holiday or returning from holiday in Blacpool and this could speed the buses down and up by an hour and save customers getting frustrated standing at hotel wondering when there coach is going to arrive.and allow people travelling to Perth and beyond to be home at a sensible hour.



Found the tram and bus pass great to get around from the Lytham St.Annes south of Blackpool as far as Fleetwood

This Company has treated my 80 year old father appallingly. He stayed at the Scarisbrich Hotel in Southport. Hotel filthy, food awful and room uninhabitable. My dad complained to the hotel and he was moved to a slightly larger room. Another pensioners room was beetle infested. My dad complained to breaks 2 go when he got back home. He was forced to put in writing. Waited 28 days for a response only to be told he should've phoned the Company on the day.



Why would he? He was distressed and upset enough after speaking with hotel staff - why on earth would he then phone the company.



When he received this response and phoned to say he was unhappy he was told to write in again, only to receive the same response.



A disgraceful way to treat our elderly citizens. Book at your peril!!

Had a holiday booked to go to Blackpool for October 15th and get a call today to tell me there buses don't run on a Saturday. 11 days before we leave now have no transport to go never mind the expense of getting there. Very disappointed and to have to tell your 5 year old son that he might not get on holiday because this company can't tell you a simple detail when i phoned weeks ago about the time of bus and were we get picked up is unbelievable

Attended the line dancing weekend which actually is a country and western weekend with 5 1/2 hours of actual line dancing from fri through to Monday with the rest being country . The hotel was lovely the meals were lovely but staff could not deal with any of the complaints it was left to one of the entertainment team and the girl who was doing the line dancing but in the end she was running about trying to deal with everyone’s complaints. I have attended this event numerous times hoping that they would get it right as I am a line dancer but up to now it is still not correct . I called breaks 2 go to speak to Paul about another matter regarding this and was told he was on holiday for 2 weeks and there was no one that could deal with my complaint or I could put it in writing for him returning. But I put a complaint four years ago in writing and I have never received a reply .

Absolutely shocking customer service towards my friend who was unfortunately medically unfit to attend a holiday we booked with this company.



After sending countless back and forth emails, to 'Patricia', an adviser that is oblivious to her own company's policy, my friend was very rudely told that we were not entitled to a refund - and was referred back to the terms and conditions that didn't tie in to what Patricia was on about.



After leaving a voicemail that no one purposely responded to this morning, she phoned again and was spoke to in a graceless and awful manner - though trying to explain the circumstances over the phone, she was told 'we can't do anything about it'.



I'm also further adding that the circumstances are unseen and the way you have treated me, and my friend is simply unfair and unmannerly.



Do not recommend booking with this company at all. Disgusting customer service from a company that hides behind their terms and condition and lacks absolutely ANY compassion what so ever.



We are currently in touch with citizens advice to take this further.
