Brendan Haddock Jewellers

I have an old watch that was my fathers which was not keeping good time. I took it to Brendan who fixed it in 5 minutes with no fuss. I had been quoted something like £120 from one of the major Princes Street jewellers just to look at it. One month later it is still keeping good time and is within 5 seconds of the time on my phone.

Brendan was able to quickly and efficiently diagnose the problem with my Swiss watch.
He provided a great service, better than I experienced with the more well known jewelers in the center of town.

I can't recommend Mr Haddock enough, I brought in my 15 year old Invicta automatic, It had stopped and even manual winding of the watch did not start it. On presentation of the watch mr Haddock feared it may be fake as the mechanism did not match the brand, with a little research he as able to establish the watch was authentic and the company switched to using a third party mechanism. The watch was returned to me as new. Mr haddock's attention to detail and professionalism is beyond reproach, and in my opinion his charges represent good value

Wonderful little gem! A rare combination of highly knowledgable gemologist and horologist in a beautiful little leafy street in Roseburn, next to a flower shop. Lucky to have lived near this shop for over 20 years as they have mended and repaired various watches & clocks for my extended family, who give me their watches and clocks from far and wide to take here for repair, as so few of these rare shops exist now.

Has a delightful display of stunning and unusual jewellery for sale including freshwater pearls, amber and great ideas for gifts, along with an eclectic choice of traditional and contemporary watches; a treat to go in and browse as always made welcome by the friendly and professional husband and wife team who couldn't be more kind and helpful. They also undertake commissions and even restring beads- a fabulous place!

Can't recommend Brendan Haddock enough!! Took my TAG watch in which had a loose clasp for repair. I handed it over and within 5 minutes it was fixed. I was advised it was a very simple repair and was not charged a penny. This was after being quoted £169 by TAG.

Very happy with the service and courtesy extended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend Brendan Haddock to anyone.
