�We eat here regularly as it's my youngest daughters favourite restaurant.

We were welcomed by Campbell on arrival with a lovely smile & took our drinks order promptly�

Andy was our waiter, great customer service & very attentive.

I even asked to order a meal to take away after we had finished our own meal as my husband was working late which they accomadated with no problem.(save me cooking when I got home).

Great food & friendly staff.

We look forward to our next visit very soon �

went in last night for the curry buffet. Can't wait to go back. Fantastic choice of curry and the sweet potato bhajis were amazing. Great service and friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit.

Was here last night with my two kids and family for our dinner and staff were great very polite with a sense of humour. Food was really nice and my kids enjoyed theirs too. Got a great deal on our mains and even got a points card. Will definitely be back x

Fantastic service and food was excellent and the breakfast was superb range of food and drinks, and staff was very helpful and friendly atmosphere will stay there again and rooms where very very good and quality

Went here for our anniversary meal Friday 16th Feb we have eaten here quite a few times and have no problems we had a 3 course meal and we enjoyed it and would recommend it to our friends and family

Visited on Sunday about 6pm, it was really busy but they found us a table no problem had a bit of a wait before anyone came over however the waiter did apologise for the delay. We were hoping to sample the carvery however they didn't have much left so ordered from the main menu and the food was lovely. They had also run out of the Diet Pepsi unlimited refill, l also ordered the lemon meringue pie however they had run out of that as well. Next time we will make sure we go earlier in the day to avoid disappointment.

Ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries, fries still frozen and cardboard in my burger. Gm offered us free desserts and refunded my meal so can’t ask any more than that when things go wrong. Plates were cleared after starters but no fresh cutlery brought out same with people round us. Staff member who said to one of the customers who said it was hot outside said well you don’t understand heat unless your a chef. I said the plates were still warm when she lifted the starter plates and she said it’s nothing compared to having to bring them out. Just found it strange she felt the need to comment in such a negative way. She then started saying about the chef moaning etc ,bit unprofessional to talk about other members of staff to customers.

Had the carvery, meat was cold, potatoes cold and over cooked, yorshires dry and brick hard, parsnips chewy and over cooked, finally gravy was thin and no bread sauce. We complained and got £5 off, staff were apologetic and polite as usual, tbh the place looks like it needs a good once over and an upgrade.

Good points- service was adequate, sadly they were short staffed or woulda been better. Mains we had were fine, though chips were'nt cooked thouroughly enough. Bad points- chicken liver pate wasn't as stated was deffo brussles. Self service juice was terriable half flat. Will deffo be back as believe in 2nd chances, but in no hurry.

Went in on 31st of July for my husbands birthday, we had booked a table for 7pm. It was quite busy but there was limited staff. It took an hour and 15 for our meals to come out! The meals were disappointing, hubbys meal was half chicken and ribs.... no half chicken but was told he would receive 2 chicken breasts..... he only got 1. Our daughter had asked for the New Yorker burger minus the burger sauce..... burger came out covered in sauce complained to waitress who took it back to the kitchen and came back with everything the same apart from they had changed the roll BUT the burger was still covered in the sauce we had to clean it off ourselves. Mine was the mixed grill apart from the steak which I couldn't get my fork in the rest was tasty but the chips were cold. The unlimited juice wasn't working either.... no gas, no syrup just water coming out of the machine. The bill came to the table with meals on it that we hadn't ordered!! Although the person in charge did take money of our bill in the end for the inconvenience it was very disappointing service and the standards have surely slipped in what used to be a nice place to go for a meal!!

Tasted good but not a whiff of chorizo, dry shrivelled up potatoes and salad on a hot plate ?? 20 minute wait for a glass of wine !! Have eaten here lots over the years without problems, this was dreadful !!

Very disappointed, went in at half 6 , got told be 5 mins , then was still waiting till 5 past 7 , and also the meal get didn’t come with chips or salad, just with sauce , also the ice cream was still frozen too.

Also only got the table till 8pm , didn’t give us enough time to have something to eat and sit down in the table for abit

Very disappointed in this place has went right downhill. Hubby and I ordered the chicken which was meant to be covered in bbq sauce was as dry as anything chipa cold and as for the young girl that brought the food out she really needs to learn to smile sorry we will not be back

Dreadful slow service ! I had Brie bites - looked like they were just chucked on the plate - the bites a small bowl of the sauce no garnish ! Chicken and chorizo pie ! Tasted good but not a whiff of chorizo, dry shrivelled up potatoes and salad on a hot plate ?? 20 minute wait for a glass of wine !! Have eaten here lots over the years without problems, this was dreadful !!

�We eat here regularly as it's my youngest daughters favourite restaurant.

We were welcomed by Campbell on arrival with a lovely smile & took our drinks order promptly�

Andy was our waiter, great customer service & very attentive.

I even asked to order a meal to take away after we had finished our own meal as my husband was working late which they accomadated with no problem.(save me cooking when I got home).

Great food & friendly staff.

We look forward to our next visit very soon �

went in last night for the curry buffet. Can't wait to go back. Fantastic choice of curry and the sweet potato bhajis were amazing. Great service and friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit.

brilliant place ...great staff....good value for money

Was here last night with my two kids and family for our dinner and staff were great very polite with a sense of humour. Food was really nice and my kids enjoyed theirs too. Got a great deal on our mains and even got a points card. Will definitely be back x

Fantastic service and food was excellent and the breakfast was superb range of food and drinks, and staff was very helpful and friendly atmosphere will stay there again and rooms where very very good and quality

Went here for our anniversary meal Friday 16th Feb we have eaten here quite a few times and have no problems we had a 3 course meal and we enjoyed it and would recommend it to our friends and family

Visited on Sunday about 6pm, it was really busy but they found us a table no problem had a bit of a wait before anyone came over however the waiter did apologise for the delay. We were hoping to sample the carvery however they didn't have much left so ordered from the main menu and the food was lovely. They had also run out of the Diet Pepsi unlimited refill, l also ordered the lemon meringue pie however they had run out of that as well. Next time we will make sure we go earlier in the day to avoid disappointment.

Ordered a vegan burger with sweet potato fries, fries still frozen and cardboard in my burger. Gm offered us free desserts and refunded my meal so can’t ask any more than that when things go wrong. Plates were cleared after starters but no fresh cutlery brought out same with people round us. Staff member who said to one of the customers who said it was hot outside said well you don’t understand heat unless your a chef. I said the plates were still warm when she lifted the starter plates and she said it’s nothing compared to having to bring them out. Just found it strange she felt the need to comment in such a negative way. She then started saying about the chef moaning etc ,bit unprofessional to talk about other members of staff to customers.

Had the carvery, meat was cold, potatoes cold and over cooked, yorshires dry and brick hard, parsnips chewy and over cooked, finally gravy was thin and no bread sauce. We complained and got £5 off, staff were apologetic and polite as usual, tbh the place looks like it needs a good once over and an upgrade.

Good points- service was adequate, sadly they were short staffed or woulda been better. Mains we had were fine, though chips were'nt cooked thouroughly enough. Bad points- chicken liver pate wasn't as stated was deffo brussles. Self service juice was terriable half flat. Will deffo be back as believe in 2nd chances, but in no hurry.

Visited Saturday night at 7pm was very disappointed ordered the chicken buffet it was almost empty what was available was cold asked waiter if it was being filled up his reply it takes time surely you shouldn't wait till buffet is empty to replace food am a regular visitor to Craig House but recently I find it a hit or a miss on quality of food

Chips were hard (undercooked), chicken very dry (overcooked), very disappointed as go here for lunch a lot or used to anyway but that's 3 times i have had a bad meal and because staff are so lovely/polite didn't complain but should have, dont think i will be back anytine soon or as much x

Went in on 31st of July for my husbands birthday, we had booked a table for 7pm. It was quite busy but there was limited staff. It took an hour and 15 for our meals to come out! The meals were disappointing, hubbys meal was half chicken and ribs.... no half chicken but was told he would receive 2 chicken breasts..... he only got 1. Our daughter had asked for the New Yorker burger minus the burger sauce..... burger came out covered in sauce complained to waitress who took it back to the kitchen and came back with everything the same apart from they had changed the roll BUT the burger was still covered in the sauce we had to clean it off ourselves. Mine was the mixed grill apart from the steak which I couldn't get my fork in the rest was tasty but the chips were cold. The unlimited juice wasn't working either.... no gas, no syrup just water coming out of the machine. The bill came to the table with meals on it that we hadn't ordered!! Although the person in charge did take money of our bill in the end for the inconvenience it was very disappointing service and the standards have surely slipped in what used to be a nice place to go for a meal!!
