We have a 1 year old with a contact dairy allergy. The staff were extremely helpful with it. They gave us information on every kids meal so we could make an informed decision. They were also happy to substitute things where necessary. Food was good, too.

Was a nice warm atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. The food was really nice, and we had the pina colada sundae which was amazing. Definitely be back. �

Came today for my grandads birthday. I loved it. Your onion rings weren’t the best but I still ate them lol so couldn’t be that bad. But on a whole I loved it. The ribs ��

Mixed grill, steaks are never cooked how you request it. You expect better but you learn to accept poor service like that. It's cheap though and the kids get to play.

Came on Sunday for a family birthday meal. No complaints about the food. Just watch as they have had a new lacker put on the wooden floor.. i went down. A member of staff which i belived to have been the manager claimed it to be the soles of my shoes.... they are aware that the new lacker they have had applied doesnt agree with certain soles of shoes but yet no warning sign up.

Went with my friend for lunch really enjoyed it, couldn't fault anything so hubby wanted to go out for tea so I said to go here disaster from start to finish. Was told 40 minute wait so we sat and had a juice got talking to people at next table they had been waiting quite a while. There was 3 of them then a lady on her own came in and got sat at a table for 4.

Eventually got called for our table.

It came and it was like the coleslaw had been dropped from a great height onto the plate, burger was good though.

Waited 15 minutes then eventually had to go to bar and order our desserts

The food was good enough but the service was terrible

No sure if I'll go back

Was in there on monday night with 4 friends and one ordered tomato soup omg it resembled warm red water it was disgusting in all honesty i wont be back not unless things get improved

Partner ordered scampi which was warm and also came with a couple pieces of chicken nuggets to our supprise. Mentioned to a waitress who went at told the chef. Came back and took our order for deserts and gave us one for half price. Very reluctant to go back again.

Our main arrived and I ordered Smothered Chicken on which my knife couldn’t cut thro as it was burnt underneath and my husbands fish, the batter was well done and burnt so we didn’t bother staying for desserts and we certainly won’t be returning.

Christmas eve breakfast a special treat for my family and it was a total let down. First of all booked a table for 9.45am we were told kids breakfast was set meal and be out in 20 minutea some what 20 minutes later or little boy was becoming hungry and impatient. When asked where his breakfast was we were told kida breakfast was getting served 10.20 why we werent informed of this when booking or upon arrival was beyond me.

When it finally arrived there was very little on the plate, they told us he was welcome to continental aswell again why were we only being told this now.

When santa arrived the gifts were an absolute let down a drwstring bag and few colouring sheets not even wrapped. This was quickly disposed of by my little boy who had no interest in it.



Finally on 2 occasions throught out our visit our little boy slipped on the stesps on soft play once causing bleeding inside his lip and second bruising to his cheek the lady who was serving aswell as bar staff were informed and couldnt seem to care. They didnt even ask if he was ok.

So i suppose i just want to say thanks for such a let down on xmas eve!!

HE SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS! and basically told me tough luck.



I asked if some of the other items on the menu could be adapted, or could he please provide me with an ingredients list. He told me that the food is made off premises, and just heated up in the kitchen so nothing could be adapted and he had no idea what was in most of it.



My wife is not a fussy eater, and would have easily accepted something simple like a plain pasta salad or baked potato due to our situation.



Don't be fooled by the menu - you will often turn up and not have your favorite choice available.

Overall seriously poor customer service, and could potentially cause serious illness if they cannot provide ingredients for meals.

Was told it was 'table service' but sat with empty drinks for ages, when going up to the bar to order another was told to 'sit down as its table service!' We really were appalled and would like to make a formal complaint.

The server couldn't seem less bothered if he tried, and even after i explained her dietary requirements, & how ill it could make her, by choosing something else (which he didn't even suggest)

I asked if some of the other items on the menu could be adapted, or could he please provide me with an ingredients list. He told me that the food is made off premises, and just heated up in the kitchen so nothing could be adapted and he had no idea what was in most of it.



My wife is not a fussy eater, and would have easily accepted something simple like a plain pasta salad or baked potato due to our situation.



Don't be fooled by the menu - you will often turn up and not have your favorite choice available.

Was a nice warm atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. The food was really nice, and we had the pina colada sundae which was amazing. Definitely be back. �

Came today for my grandads birthday. I loved it. Your onion rings weren’t the best but I still ate them lol so couldn’t be that bad. But on a whole I loved it. The ribs ��

Standing in a que to order food and drinks is abit off putting, especially if there is a long que stretching far back waiting to be served. Staff were not greatly trained in hospitality, part self service, no table service from staff as such. Dirty glasses and food plates left for long periods before being cleared. Deco tired and very much dated. Tables being reserved (table of 4 being reserved and only 2 people turning up to sit at it - what a waste). If you like basic then this is for you.

Not been here in a while so went with my family.

Starters arrived and my mushrooms were rock hard that my fork struggled to break them and my husband starter chicken Goujons was well hard.

Our main arrived and I ordered Smothered Chicken on which my knife couldn’t cut thro as it was burnt underneath and my husbands fish, the batter was well done and burnt so we didn’t bother staying for desserts and we certainly won’t be returning.

Christmas eve breakfast a special treat for my family and it was a total let down. First of all booked a table for 9.45am we were told kids breakfast was set meal and be out in 20 minutea some what 20 minutes later or little boy was becoming hungry and impatient. When asked where his breakfast was we were told kida breakfast was getting served 10.20 why we werent informed of this when booking or upon arrival was beyond me.

When it finally arrived there was very little on the plate, they told us he was welcome to continental aswell again why were we only being told this now.

When santa arrived the gifts were an absolute let down a drwstring bag and few colouring sheets not even wrapped. This was quickly disposed of by my little boy who had no interest in it.



Finally on 2 occasions throught out our visit our little boy slipped on the stesps on soft play once causing bleeding inside his lip and second bruising to his cheek the lady who was serving aswell as bar staff were informed and couldnt seem to care. They didnt even ask if he was ok.

So i suppose i just want to say thanks for such a let down on xmas eve!!

We went for a family lunch and was very disappointed with the food. My partner had the New Yorker burger and it was extremely dry, the chips were cold and the bun burnt. I had the carvery and after waiting 10 mins for the chef, definitely wasn’t anything to boast about. The turkey was Ok but the rest of the veg was cold and had to scrape the bottom of the gravy pot which ended up being lukewarm. The kids enjoyed their food as kids do. Can’t go wrong with chicken nuggets and chips!.

This particular brewers fayre should either be closed down or totally revamped with staff that know what an eating establishment is all about they are far too lacks and under qualified too slow plates left for ages on tables before being lifted food is disgusting I have frequently used this establishment saying will give it another try maybe they were having a bad day but no it's a bad day every day for this brewers fayre and that will be us finished now and would defiantly NOT recommend glenrothes need some one in to investigate there everlasting problems here.���

One star is too many!!!



Our oven broke, and we went to get some food. We already didn't rate this restaurant overly highly, but they had added a few extra things to their menu so we thought we'd give it another try.

We arrived but nobody greeted us, we found our own table and menus.

My wife who is vegetarian and has other dietary requirements, chose a couple of options on the menu that she could eat, and i went up to the bar to order.



WELL, upon requesting the options, i was told that neither were available currently.

The server couldn't seem less bothered if he tried, and even after i explained her dietary requirements, & how ill it could make her, by choosing something else (which he didn't even suggest)

HE SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS! and basically told me tough luck.



I asked if some of the other items on the menu could be adapted, or could he please provide me with an ingredients list. He told me that the food is made off premises, and just heated up in the kitchen so nothing could be adapted and he had no idea what was in most of it.



My wife is not a fussy eater, and would have easily accepted something simple like a plain pasta salad or baked potato due to our situation.



Don't be fooled by the menu - you will often turn up and not have your favorite choice available.

Overall seriously poor customer service, and could potentially cause serious illness if they cannot provide ingredients for meals.

Me and my partner went for the Buffet Chicken Night, as we'd had a great experience before at one in Derbyshire. But we were utterly disappointed!! The choice was feeble, just a few flavourless breaded wings and chicken drumsticks, dry chicken breast, over cooked dried out rice (probably from the night before)! Everything was cold - even the chips!! Staff were rude and not that helpful. Was told it was 'table service' but sat with empty drinks for ages, when going up to the bar to order another was told to 'sit down as its table service!' We really were appalled and would like to make a formal complaint.

If I could leave a minus I would:-



Waited over an hour for our main meals and when they arrived two were lukewarm but too hungry to wait for a replacement. One had to be sent back as the fish was inedible. My daughter had to ask for fresh mayonnaise as it had a big black hair in it, finally to top it off - what little I ate clearly wasn't right as I had to leave in a hurry - made it to the car park where I was violently sick. This place really is shocking ���
