A wee treasure on Islay
Terrific accommodations with comfortable beds, strong showers and friendly staff. They also have a selection of lounge, bar and restaurant downstairs so you're sure to find whatever food or drink atmosphere suits you best. The location itself is ideal for access to multiple locations on Islay. Most distilleries, golf courses and points of interest are within a 30 minute drive.

The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The food was delicious. The bar/lounge area has nice atmosphere...a really cozy place to relax before dinner. The staff couldn't be nicer. They had great suggestions for walks/hikes that were spot on. I had a small crisis with a missing rental car key and coat. The Bridgend staff helped me sort it out...helping book alternate travel and mailing me my recovered coat and belongings. They were just so gracious. What a delightful place!
Excellent pub - extremely welcoming with a good selection of whisky & beer. The food is very good and locally-focused.
Waitress was very friendly and attentive, I tried the Cullen skink soup and the venison burger. The soup was absolutely delicious, creamy with veggies and haddock. The venison burger was also very tasty, not too heavy either. Overall, pretty great experience.
