About Brigend Theatre
Dumfries Musical Theatre Company (DMTC) is Dumfries’ only musical theatre company with its own wee theatre, The Brigend. In 1972, we purchased a former church which was being used as a joiner’s workshop and converted it into a 96 seat theatre.
Brigend Theatre Description
The Brigend Theatre is located next to the Devorgilla Bridge in Dumfries and is owned by the Dumfries Musical Theatre Company who usually perform two shows a year. This fully equipped, 91 seat theatre comes with full sound and lighting system, two spacious dressing rooms and reception area.
The Theatre is available to hire for live performances, workshops, talks and events. Please message for more information.
