Got a lot of vintage furniture for a good price and delivered!

Unfortunately, I have recently received a VERY POOR service from the British Heart Foundation on Dalry Road and wouldn't recommend their home collection service to anyone.
We booked in for a collection of a wardrobe and chest of drawers about a month before our move out date. We had calls back and forth with the British Heart Foundation over missed information on the original form that they forgot to ask initially - important things like our flat number! At no point did they ask anything about the furniture other than what it was. We called on the week of the delivery to be told we didn't have a collection booked. They booked us in again and we thought that would be it. Several calls followed while we were at work about gift aid, our email addresses and once again to ask what flat we lived in. We told the BHF three times our address and were surprised on the morning of the delivery for the driver to call to ask where we lived as he didn't know. When the drivers arrived they said they couldn't take our furniture because they were made of dark wood. At no point in this process were we told BHF do not take items like this. They also said the wardrobe was too big for two men to move and it would not fit down the stairs. I don't agree with this as we got the wardrobe up the stairs with only two men!
Just because volunteers are being used highly in this service doesn't mean the customer experience should be any less professional. We were trying to do our bit and donate our furniture to charity and we are now left in the situation of having to move out tomorrow with no way of disposing of our furniture. From start to finish this was a total shambles and I am deeply disappointed in the service. I will not be returning or supporting the British Heart Foundation in the future.

Good range of second hand furniture and electricals, prices are reasonable

Absolutely fantastic staff & delivery guys... All were so helpful lovely mannered & polite staff in the shop & on delivery, I truly had a great exsperiance with all & will 100% defenatley be back again, the delivery guys had to take my furniture up my stairs for me,which was very tricky & heavy & they did so without damaging any of stair case walls etc .... Fantastic guys well done & thank you so much & lucky for your young helper on this day that he had his steel toe cap boots on or he could have lost toes !!!!!!!!!
