Based in East Kilbride on the outskirts of Glasgow, we have developed our operation to be one of Scotland and the UK's premier contract heat treatment facilities. Accredited to ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018, our heat treatment processes are carried out in an array of molten salt-bath, gas-fired, and other furnaces. We provide a premier service to a wide range of industrial sectors including oil & gas, power transmission, automotive and general engineering. Structured operationally as an extremely reactive contract heat treatment provider, we interact positively with client processing specifications and ever-changing delivery schedule requests. Our rapid turnaround service results in the majority of the facility throughput being processed within 3 - 4 working days of receipt (sometimes quicker when required). This allows us to meet client's urgent processing aspirations and their related 'Just In Time' (JIT) manufacturing schedules. The primary heat treatment processes that we offer include: • Quench-Polish-Quench (QPQ)• Nitrocarburising /Nitriding (Tufftride)• Quench Hardening• Tempering• Carburising /Casehardening• Stress Relieving• Annealing• NormalisingWe operate 12 modern gas-fired salt bath furnaces extending to 920 mm diameter and 1480 mm deep with 1000 kg capacity. We have in-house automatic bead-blasting and polishing capability and a fully equipped testing Laboratory to verify full compliance with client specifications. Our active membership with the Contract Heat Treatment Association, combined with management expertise, enables appropriate processing guidance to be sourced, if required, on the technical appraisal of any heat treatment enquiry. Working in partnership with our parent company AJT Engineering Ltd based in Aberdeen, we are able to solve a diverse range of engineering challenges to the highest standard.
