The boys and I would like to firstly pass on our best wishes to you and your families at this time. We hope everyone is staying healthy and look forward to seeing you all on the course in the near future (fingers crossed).
Members have asked for me to send a regular update specific to the golf course and some pictures. I will look to send a weekly update of work completed and planned for the upcoming week, until we can all start playing again.

LOUNGES CLOSED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT
Following the Government closure notice issued on Friday evening, the Club are now closing the lounges of the Clubhouse with immediate effect. At the moment access to the Ladies and Gents locker rooms will still be available but this situation may change without notice should the Government decide a lockdown is required. All external doors excluding the Ladies and Gents locker rooms will be locked and the interior doors that provide access... to the lounges from the locker rooms will not be accessible. Please use the locker rooms sensibly and with every precaution to ensure your safety and that of others. Hopefully the situation will resolve itself soon and we look forward to welcoming you back.

BAR AND CATERING CLOSED As previously circulated we have continued to monitor the situation but due to the serious nature and circumstances we have no choice but to close the bar and catering services with immediate effect. The club have not made taken this decision lightly but to protect staff, members and guests during these unprecedented times.
The locker rooms will remain open but please take every precaution necessary to protect yourself while using the facility as per ...government advice.
The course will remain open but again please heed the advice previously issued.
The office and Pro shop will remain open for the time being.
The situation will be reviewed after 14 days but we hope our members will continue to support the club during this very difficult time.

The World Challenge organisation has teamed up with Lasswade High school and is sending pupils to Ecuador to volunteer and assist in impoverished communities there.
A member has arranged a 'Race Night' to raise funds for the trip and this will be held at the Club on Saturday 21 March 2020 from 7pm.
All members are welcome to attend but tickets must be purchased in advance of the event and only a limited number are available. Tickets can be obtained at the bar and are priced a...t £5.00 per person.
Catering will be available prior to the event.
