βΌοΈTHE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR TOP UPβΌοΈ
Itβs important to do your research before committing to any semi-permanent process, and that includes microblading. There are 2 procedures that are involved in giving you the perfect brow. The first step is your initial appointment, where we create your new eyebrows. Think of this step as the design consultation, where we brow map the shape, choose pigment colour, curve and definition of your brows (which can take some time). After this, we t...hen carry out the initial microblading procedure. The 2nd part of the process is a follow-up consultation (required top up), recommended 4 - 10 weeks after the initial session. As your skin heals and a new layer of skin forms, the original pigmentation fades quite a bit - can sometimes appear patchy!. The top up appointment is used to go over the hairstrokes lines and make any alterations or colour adjustments if needed. The 2 part process ensures you love your new brows, and that they last!
Like most enhancements, they generally last longer with a little maintenance and regular upkeep, and this applies to your new *browgoals* as well. You will notice better and longer lasting results if you follow the advice and schedule a touch up appointment after the initial microblading. The 2nd session is scheduled 4-10 weeks after your appointment. This gives your skin adequate time to heal following the initial treatment. It takes a few weeks for your brows to heal and approximately one month for the semi-permanent colour to fully settle into the skin. The colour appears quite dark for the first few days (so donβt panic! π) but fades with the healing process, resulting in a softer, more natural shade. The top up includes refilling- if certain areas did not properly retain the pigment; colour re-shading- as individualsβ skin types absorb pigmentations differently and might require deeper shading, and brow refining and redefinition if necessary. Each individualβs unique skin and some different factors eg sunbed use, will determine how long your new brows can last but generally, brows can last around a year, 6+ month boosters are available for those who like to keep them looking extra fresh π

Client had brows previously done at another salon....we brow mapped and slightly reshaped to compliment her face and giving a bit more volume with fine hairstrokes gives more definition π
