Food was awesome.

Visited Brown's on 1st January for a new years dinner. We were not disappointed. The service we received was excellent and the food was amazing. I also love the chilled out relaxed feeling of the restaurant. All in all, a definite recommendation

Service was wonderful, ordered champagne beers and cocktails, all came chilled and in good time.



Staff very friendly, knew there stuff and were excellent. Also worth noting they were super friendly with our 5 year old too.



Food was gorgeous.

Would highly recommend, can’t wait to book another city break so we can visit again

My little girl had an amazing time today at lunch with Moana! The food was amazing the staff were the best! The look in my childs eyes when she got to meet her idol was priceless! I would highly recommend this event! Moana was awesome she had a lot of time for every child and was very patient and kind! Top job guys!!!!!

My Mum and I decided to go for a meal and a couple of cocktails before the Bananarama concert last night (11/11/17). The place was vibrant and trendy and every table was occupied - a great first impression. Our waiter (his name sadly eludes me), was engaging and attentive, without being intrusive. The cocktails were scrumptious and the food was absolutely to die for! This is now a new firm favourite - so much so, I have now decided to book a meal and cocktails next spring for my hen do. I would thoroughly recommend Browns Brassarie & Bar Glasgow to anyone and everyone. Thanks for a wonderful evening guys! Karen xx

Had a great day yesterday at browns food was good and James took such good care of us. The prosecco was lovely!!! Such good service when we were eating. Unfortunately we ended up having to move round to the table at the door it was cold and drafty i do love browns, can you do anything about it? The bar service was really slow at times with the staff not serving the queue in the correct order always something that irritates me particularly when people deliberately jump in. Despite this ill be back in browns cause every time i go your serving staff are great and help make it a special occassion and it's always got a great atmosphere with the most fantastic cocktails x

Great service and excellent food in a superb location. This is a first class restaurant and never had a bad meal or need to complain. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Booked for 20 + people, everything was fantastic and Dan looked after the whole group and helped make a special family occasion all the better with his service and chat. A great time was had by all !!

Had dinner here last night with my friend, food was good, drinks were good, cocktails amazing. Our hostess Sian was lovely, attentive but not Intrusive. My only small gripe is that our table was right at the door so was blasted with cold air every time someone came in or left which was annoying but not enough to stop me from coming back.

So we thoroughly enjoyed our evening out at Browns with some friends on 22/12/17- we are from South Africa. However when it came to pay the bill, we accidentally put in the incorrect amount, which was double the bill. We requested for a refund and received the receipt, however the process on getting this money back into my account has been an absolute nightmare and what I would call very unethical. I called my bank in SA - they told me that Browns had not yet done their banking and it would need to be updated on their side. My friend Deidre has been following up for me since she resides in Scotland. We keep getting told it will clear and was supposed to be cleared into my bank account two days ago as per the Managers email, only to receive yet ANOThER email stating that I must once again check with my bank WTF? This has put such a damper on our thoughts of Browns and we will definitely not be going back there ever again and nor will our friends from Scotland - they have my money and are not resolving and it is incredibly frustrating as well as not right! Unacceptable!!!!! ���

My family really like Browns and have been regularly and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. We booked dinner on Sat 9th December to celebrate my birthday and left hugely disappointed. The food was great however your service was shocking. I don’t often complain but felt I had to that night before leaving as I was so annoyed. We waited 30 minutes once seated to be asked for our order, our starter came quickly but we waited a further 30 minutes once we finished for our main courses. Our waiter didn’t seem interested and was very flustered whenever WE asked for something. Our drinks lay empty for 20 mins before we had to stop another waitress and ask for another. Overall not impressed.

Staff Christmas lunch on Wednesday 20th December. Had a great lunch last year so thought we would return. Never again. Table in what can only be described as the basement. Food was cold, waiter didn't seem interested when told. Had been told we would get a table upstairs later, this had been agreed in writing at time of booking. Waited about two hours before finally after repeated requests got moved. Our much looked forward too lunch was not what we expected but then again they say you get what you pay for at over £1000.00 had expected more.

Service was very slow waitress came to check our starter three times we were a large party but this was not acceptable. Two main courses had to be returned one cold one very overcooked. Would not visit again.

Was attending a Xmas lunch. Prawn cocktail was abysmal, large chunks of lettuce, tiny prawns, and little or no sauce,very poor presentation, my 6 year old nephew could have produced better. The main was barely warm, the only thing on that menu that was lovely was the profiteroles. Would not recommend to anyone to book their Xmas lunch here, trust me, it will be the best advice you take
