Bruntsfield Post Office

Extremely rude and unfriendly people working there. Avoid as plague. Very sad such a horrible people run post office services in Bruntsfield area.

Really poor service - avoid if possible - declined to hand a parcel delivered by Amazon to my husband, who had the notice to collect the parcel and his id. Apparently he needs to turn up at the post office with MY id. He already had an email forwarded by me.

The owner does not treat all his customers equally. Repeatedly I have observed that he is overly friendly to a certain demographic but when it comes to my turn, I am asked to wait whilst he performs other tasks. When he finally give me his attention, he rushes my custom and acts like I am an inconvenience. It is unfortunate that it is the local post office. I dread every time I find myself using it. I think I will take the trek to Morningside in the future.

The older guy working there (or just sitting around being rude to people) is for sure the rudest person I've come across in Edinburgh. Lately, I've been going all out of my way to go to a different post office, even though it's less convenient for me.

Rude. So rude. Post office does not open at 7am...as stated and when I asked when it did he literally shouted at me "well I don't know do I" how naive to assume the owner would know.

Such a rude owner and no manners. Avoid this post office and other reviewers obviously feel the same. Dont give him or his shop your business

I cannot give this place a good rating.

I arrived to use the post office service at 0730 and was informed that the post office person was not in yet, they did not know when they would be in (it could be 10 minutes or half-an-hour) and he was unable to serve me. I asked if the post office would be open up to 1830 (as advertised on their shop front and the website) and was told that it would be. I returned at 1730 to find the whole shop shut!

If a place wishes to advertise Post Office services they should be quality control checked. I am very disappointed with this place.

The official post office website says that the services should be available from 07:00, however it appears that they open the post services at times that suit them best. This was the second time I went in the morning at around 08:00/08:30 just to be told that they don't know when their guy for the parcel services will arrive. I would not recommend dropping off your parcel here in order to avoid disappointment (go the the Morningside branch).

This is the worst P.O I have ever encountered!! There should be a criteria to follow for people who want to open a P.O.

This people are not interested in providing a service. They treat customers as a bother in their busy personal lives. Looking at their children's pictures in their phones while you wait to be served.

When you are finally acknowledged, they are rude and unhelpful. Now I have to go to Morningside for my postage needs.

Please, please can we have some quality control!!

The worst service. It's 7.50am and the old Polish man behind the counter doing totally nothing is waiting me wait for 10 minutes before opening the post office. Everything I come here, he is just so rude. Yep, just watching him pick at his teeth
