About Bryden Enterprises

We clean everything from Churchs to fishing boat hulls, ancient silk wall hangings to modern carpets

Bryden Enterprises Description

Specialist Restoration needs not only a vast knowledge and understanding of materials and how they are affected by time, weather, contamination and wear. It also requires specialist equipment and qualifications to ensure no loss or damage by routine service cleaners who sometimes are unaware of the damage they could cause to furniture textiles or even the building itself. Thats why Bryden Enterprises has spent many years developing the experience and knowledge to deal with every type of cleaning process from industrial kitchen Extractors to a tiny silk embroidery. We can deal with every aspect of restorative cleaning.

We are very particular about providing and selling which machines we use. So when we find the right vacuum cleaner to use and sell you can be sure is one of the best in the business.
We care about servicing the machines so when we clean the hotel or restaurant carpets we love to provide a free machine service on everyone we sell.
Some problems can occur for example not changing the bag some seem to think when the bag is full you throw the bag away and keep using the machine r...egardless.
Checking the pipes for the latest broadsheet newspaper which may have inadvertently been sucked into the vacuum pipe.
Perhaps checking the filter and dislodging the cement which was accidentally sucked up during the Hotel renovations and set hard.
Maybe removing the wet soggy vacuum bag after sucking up the spilled milk from the kitchen.
One of the things we don't recommend is when the staff have thrown the full bag away then start using the vacuum anyway without this filter to draw things such as nails , carpet tacks, rivet's, pieces of glass, driveway gravel and various other items including potato peelings used condoms other sanitary wares and household items.
We do not recommend that you give the machine to your handy man, husband, wife or the local garage mechanic to have a per cursory look over the machine before returning it to us for inspection and repair.
In these circumstances what tends to happen is the machine goes into a state of shock.
The wires get nipped in the casing as the handyman tries to relocate the parts, normally minus the spring and retaining clips quite essential for many of the machines functions.
In many cases the wires tend to turn a shade of black and fuse together this is sometimes called arc welding and is used to weld steel panels together on ships and such like.
Following this the DIY handyman usually gets the screws mixed up and thinks they are studs. The screws are the ones with the pointy end. This stops them stabbing the cable and introducing sparks and more welding.
We prefer to put studs in the threaded end and the screws in the other bits not the studs.
Normally if a spring is fitted it tends to be needed so please don't throw them away as the vacuum cleaner will inadvertently dump the contents of what it has collected behind you a bit like a tractor ploughing a field.
So faulty vacuum cleaner £25.00 plus parts and you are in business. Not a bad deal Please for the sake of the poor thing don't give it back to us via the DIY route. It could cost you more and even make your hair stand on end.

It has often struck us that when it comes to restoration of textile items including carpets, furniture, rugs and garments that much of the work is undertaken by enthusiastic passionate individuals who have gone on a 3 day training course, perhaps 3 or 4 one day courses over a period of time.
The work undertaken often involves large complexes such as hotels which may have well over 1 million pounds worth of carpets alone. The pressure of those who undertake this task is huge...
