Buchan Radio Description
Buchan Radio is a community radio station serving Peterhead and the towns and villages within the North East area. We broadcast hit music from the last 60 years, plus specialist programmes, news and local community information, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Unlike commercial radio, Buchan Radio is a community station. This means we are a non-profit organisation. We are here to inform and entertain the people of North East as well as playing an active part in the local community and providing training opportunities.

We firmly believe that Community Radio should be "90% Community, 10% Radio" and are always looking for ways to get more people to get involved in what is after all, their own radio station.
Whether you would like to be in front of the microphone presenting programmes, taking on one of the background roles in researching or producing programmes, getting involved in the technical aspects of radio, helping with the office administration, or supporting fundraising efforts we REALLY want to hear from you.

... We have have non stop party music old on air from 3pm this afternoon up till the 3rd January 2019 we will be back with live shows from 3rd Jan 3pm.
Remember as well we go live on 107.9fm in January in the next few weeks so we are busy getting ready for FM as well as taken a well earned break before we go live on air full time fm broadcasting.
