Buckie Harbour Description
Buckie Harbour (Cluny Harbour) was built by the Cluny family in 1877 to replace the town's first stone harbour in Nether Buckie which was constructed in 1857 a mere mile or so to the west but had a tendency to silt up and become unusable.
The decline of the fishing industry over the last 20-30 years in the UK has had an impact on the port, like many others. Buckie Harbour is far from dead though with animal feeds, grain, stone, fish, manufactured goods and other commodities all being imported or exported.
The team at Buckie Harbour are always looking for new opportunities to show what we can do for our customers.
