Hi ya folks! Good to see spring is officially here and just in time for all those special mummies to enjoy a day in the sun on Mother's Day! Why not pop down to Bullands and enjoy some of the sunshine over a spot of lunch or coffe and cake in our outdoor seating...would be a shame not to make the most of such a beautiful day! Hiya folks! Hope we are all keeping well! Just a reminder for any of those bringing dogs in to the cafe that they must be kept on a lead and on the floor at your table. We welcome you and your furry companions to come into Bullands (for a free sausage and water) however if a dog persistently barks then I am afraid we may have to ask you to leave. For health and safety reasons these house rules must be adhered to and also for the respect of other customers. Thank you for your understanding and hope to see you all soon!!

Good morning folks!! What another beautiful one it is too! Bullands is taking the sunshine indoors on Monday the 2nd of May and welcoming you all to our "Malaga Monday" 💃💃💃 come along and try some Spanish tapas and delights, cooked for by our very own spaniard! Our everyday menu will still be on too so pop in and see what surprises Bullands holds in store on Monday,hope to see you soon!!

For those with horses it would be worth your while to go and see what they have to offer! Their friendly staff can help with orders and any queries you might have! For those who don't have horses don't feel left out 😞 pop into Bullands where we specialise in human feeds, from those essential nutrients like breakfasts and recommended vitamins like home made soup! As some of you may be aware work has properly started across the road on the old public toilets and aims to be open for the beginning of February! The new business will be 'Bullands Connections Feed Supplies' It will specialise in horse feed and supplies. For anyone who has a horse can I recommend you search for the name on Facebook and add them. Any suggestions are very welcome at this stage and if you could drop the page a message with any that you might have! Customer orders will be taken when the shop is running so this would be an idea opportunity to put forward any requests! Keep an eye on their Facebook page for information on the shop and progress!

Hiya folks!! Hope we all had a wonderful Christmas and new year 😁 we have had a fantastic Christmas spent with all our customers and thank you for keeping us all busy during the festivities! We would like to wish you all the best for 2016 and hope a great year lies ahead for everyone!

Just a little reminder of all our goodies!! Or as we like to call it " the naughty corner" we have all our favourites from our home made scones,empires,caramel flans,apple pie,carrot cake,Victoria sponge....the list goes on!! We also have a few new additions such as a truly delicious chocolate orange cake with a yummy Terry's treat on top. Home made by our favourite German waitress Claudia 😁 also we have some new coffee and raspberry cakes which must be tried! Pop in soon folks!!

Hiya folks!! Seems like we are back to our good old Scottish weather! Fortunately Bullands is open come rain or shine! Unfortunately for us after 5 years our lovely waitress Lauren is leaving us on Wednesday to start a new career 😪 she has been a massive asset to our bullands team and and will be greatly missed by us all. We wish her all the best with her future and know she will do great. Lauren has been such a pleasure to work with and I'm sure you will all agree a lovely young lady! Please wish her all the best if you are in over the next few days!! Good luck Lauren xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Whatever your age you are sure to love one of our freshly made milkshakes!! Here is a sweet and tasty chocolate milkshake made earlier for a customer who was in for a rare treat :) Lots of yummy flavours to choose from so be sure to ask the waitress staff for your favourite. It doesn't always have to be hot drinks on these colder days so give one of our milkshakes a try!!! Also this is a recent addition to our many goodies so if there is a flavour you would like to see on the menu let us know! Hope to see you soon :)

Hi there folks! Was wondering how many of our customers bought the Sunday post today and saw our glowing review? We are so proud of what we have achieved and its rewarding to get praise of our hard work so publicly! However we need to thank all our customers for visiting our coffee shop and keeping us on our toes! We pride ourself on our customer service,freshly made food/home baking and all the coffee and beverages we have to offer! Along with trying to keep our shop original and full of hidden gems . We visited Bullands for the first time today with our pup. We couldn't have felt more welcome and Stella loved her sausage. It was her first time in a cafe and the atmosphere was so relaxed, it was such a good chance for her to get used to that sort of environment. And the food was delicious too, perfect start before heading out for a walk in the park. We'll be back!

We love coming here with our dog and he loves it even more getting a sausage as a treat! The food is great, the biggest scones I have ever seen with lovely homemade soup/cakes etc perfect for after a walk around Mugdock!

We discovered Bulland Coffee House quite by chance on the way back from a walk at Mugdock Park with our Westie Iona. We were made very welcome and Iona was given her own some special breakfast. It was so nice to be able to sit down and eat in a warm cosy place with our wee girl with us. Been back again this week. Great food and a lovely team. D xx

Visited yesterday for the first time, lovely food, quick service and my dog was made to feel welcome with her free sausage treat! Will be back!

Very welcoming and warm atmosphere. DOG friendly and sell great food and even greater cakes.. Yum Yum .. Have been in a few times with my family including dog.. Never disappointed...x

The food was great and the staff are friendly and I love that it’s dog friendly too I had the full breakfast it was huge and the chocolate cake was to die for I highly recommended this place x

Thank you to the lovely ladies in Bullands Coffee House for being so kind to me this afternoon when my baby kicked off. The coffee was great and the chocolate cake was perfect! Will definitely back soon.

Popped in to Bullands today as my daughter had been nagging me to since it opened .

I wasn’t disappointed , I had sweet chicken chilli wrap it came with homemade chips and salad and was huge. Great to see real chips instead of the pilly wally frozen ones .

Cappuccino was really good too and I’m a real coffee addict and extremely fussy .

My daughter had the full breakfast comes with toast and tea , again it was huge and really good quality products . ( I keep saying huge but we ate it all despite ��)

Best bit is it’s totally dog friendly , well behaved dogs are welcomed with open arms , a bowl of water and a sausage .

We left with a huge slab of chocolate cake and an empire biscuit all homemade by the looks of them .

We definitely will be back will fast beforehand though to make sure we can accommodate the portions �

The dog will definitely know his way back too �

Biggest plus point for us, however, was the friendly welcome our dogs got (especially as one is a Leonberger and therefore not the smallest of breeds!) A water bowl and individual bowls of sausage for the dogs was above and beyond what we would have expected and the reason I have recommended them to all my friends.

Love this place. Just discovered it after a friend took me. It's perfect for after a long dog walk having worked up an appetite. Had the most delicious home made mushroom soup yesterday whilst the dog had her usual sausage. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and homely. We are now regular customers!

I love it in this we gem of a cafe amazing staff plus I take my great dane with me he's gets his drink and sausages he's happy was in the other day with .my mum and dad daughter plus jackson best breakfast worth a visit guys xxxxxxxxxx �

My wife was in a few weeks ago and without her permission a sausage. Our puppy barked looking for another sausage. My wife was asked to leave even though she had just purchased £30 worth of food.

No one was bothered other than one member of staff plus the bark was isolated incident.

I was in this morning and there was one other couple in a the dog barked I took her out side and then came back in a couple of minutes later I was told I would have to leave if I couldn't keep the dog quiet.

This place states that elephant and others are welcome. That is obviously untrue. The food is also not the best I've had and there is an issue of hygiene as the toilets are dirty and not easy accessible.

We will not been back.

Dogs are allowed in but must be very very very very very quiet. My puppy barked (not very loudly) a couple of times and was told I needed to leave or sit outside in the cold with my drink. Apparently they have to think of their other customers though none of them seemed to bother about the few barks. I had taken one sip from my coffee and was certainly not going to pay for it. My friends dog didn't want the sausage in the bowl so she placed it on the table out of the way and was given into trouble for having the dog on the table even though her dog was on the floor and if they had given us a clean bowl there shouldn't be an issue with it on the table. Overall very disappointed and won't be back. Dog friendly unless your dog makes one noise. What about if a baby is crying? Do you ask them to leave? No. Wouldn't recommend.
