Antiques Road Trip filming in Burford Antiques Castle Douglas. They took over the shop for four hours yesterday afternoon. Stephanie had her eye on a six carat brooch and an Edwardian ladies writing desk. She pointed out the advantages of buying vintage over new. Remembering Mum Ann Burford. Today she would have been 77. She was a well known face in Castle Douglas and customers often ask fondly for her and dad Tony in Burford Antiques. Few will know that Mum and Dad at one point rode a Norton motor bike, they were also great field archers and Ann in her day was a wonderful water skier! Both are greatly missed ❤️
