Well what can I say: after having Burns Coffee House recommended to me by two different people in one day there was no way I couldn't pop in!

Great food, great service and (a particular favourite of mine) beautiful tables!

I've recommended it to 3 people since and will definitely be back... apparently the custard creams are to die for!

Popped in for lunch and wasn't too hungry so had the soup. Gorgeous broccoli and stilton soup and the fennel bread was amazing! Hope next time I'm hungry enough to try one of your quiches! Hope you continue to do well Bob McWhir! X

Popped in after hearing good things about the quality of food and service. Had the Burns Burger and could not fault it. I'll definitely be back and will be recommending The Burns Cafe to family and friends.

I've lived in Dumfries for almost nine years, and in that time have been to every single local purveyor of breakfast in town, and I can honestly say the breakfast I had this morning was THE BEST I've ever had in Dumfries.

I would highly recommend it this lovely wee café, if you are in Dfrs, especially after shopping, the food is spot on, and the café is very child friendly too.... The service is very professional, everything to high standards �

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast today with freshly cooked ingredients , and excellent service . Great homebaking and plentiful coffee !

Honestly love this place � Any time I come to town, go out my way to come here. So friendly and welcoming, really put you at ease straight away �

Have ordered breakfast rolls to collect a couple of times and they are really good!!!! You can tell it’s quality produce used and quality packaging to keep them warm until your home ���

Had the crispy chicken wrap, cooked perfectly and just what was needed for a light lunch. I'm not usually a fan of filter coffee but found myself having more than one cup.



The order was taken prompt and the food was out quickly and looked as good as it tasted.

Had breakfast here this morning and loved it! The owner was so lovely and couldn't have done more for us - even giving us a takeaway cup for no extra charge. The food was so yummy and high quality. Highly recommend this lovely cafe!

Definitely a 5 star from us lovely fresh cooked breakfast free refills of coffee and service spot on we will be back. Cant wait to see the place after the revamp. Taking a chef out to eat is a hard task but he was very impressed phew!!

Always pop in here on a Saturday morning when in town. Great cafe, with great food and quality service. Recommend if your in the town and fancy even just a coffee and a tray bake, you will not be disappointed by visiting here.
