Miserable morning!! What to do?? Just come for breakfast at Butternut Squash and brighten the day.

User

Council needs to do something !! We have had a constant stream of people asking to use our toilet. I have allowed it tonight because it’s not fair on the tourists that Scotland cannot actually think about looking after them and encouraging them back. To phrase a term Piss poor Edinburgh

What an amazing wee place, the staff are amazing and the food is top quality! There was 28 of us in for a birthday celebration, the service was excellent and all the food came out HOT! Would highly recommend, we can't wait to go back!

User

Visited yesterday for the first time with a friend when out for a walk. Had the french toast and bacon with maple syrup and it was lovely. Cost was very reasonable and the service was both friendly and swift. Going back tomorrow with another friend who I know will love it. Highly recommend. Xx

User

Popped in here today with husband and grandson amazing tasty food and great friendly service will definitely be back

User

Lovely warm welcome, friendly service and excellent food.

User

Had an amazing meal here last night! Staff great, never had a bad meal here. Delicious every time! Will be back soon x

User

Food was lovely, really reasonable and huge portions. Staff were brilliant with the kids and BYOB. What more can you ask for?

I had baked Camembert with salad to start, was an entire wooden round with caramelised grapes, 5 prices of homemade garlic bread and a gorgeous, dressed leafy salad for £6.95. I would have been happy with that for a main course. 1/2 roast chicken and creamer corn for main at £12.95 was incredible. A wee diamond. Fish and chips were gorgeous and a huge array of deserts too. Well worth a visit.

User

Food was delicious and service top notch. Will recommend to friends and family.

Wee criticism - when the door to the toilet was opened you could see right in to the loo.

User

Food is amazing. Have never ever been disappointed. Had breakfasts lunches and dinners here and devoured every morsel. Value for money? It sure is. No hesitation recommending it.

User

Food brilliant staff very friendly and made a big fuss of our granddaughter who was celebrating her 5th birthday and they were happy to accommodate family dog! Reasonably priced with BYOB so what more could you ask for? Definitely recommend and will be back very soon! 👍

Excellent place for lovely home cooked food, they do a lovely big breakfast with toast and tea or coffee for £5.95 it keeps us going all day, also our dog is welcome there too. Very quick, efficient service, and very friendly, also been for lunch. We love this place.

An absolute little gem of a bistro. Had the small cooked breakfast and it was the nicest breakfast I've had in a very long time. Food well cooked and piping hot and lovely coffee which was also piping hot. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful and the toilet facilities were immaculate. I will definitely be back and can thoroughly recommend this place, it is just lovely.

User

First time here. We came for breakfast before starting The Art Walk. The staff were friendly and polite. The choice of breakfasts were very good and the value was great. Breakfast, coffee or tea, and a slice of toast all for £5.95. The only downside for me was that the door was open as it was a lovely early morning but there was still a bit of a chill in the air so it was cold while we sat and they also don't take cards as no machine, we found this out when trying to pay on our way out. Luckily enough we had some cash. A nice place, well worth the visit for breakfast. I would go back in a minute
