Our elegant ‘Tarte Au Citron’ has a sweet and sharp lemon flavour that marries perfectly with Normandy crème fraiche, raspberries and melt-in-the-mouth pastry case.

What a lovely place! Excellent breakfast and lunch, not expensive, warm and cozy! The staff is super friendly and they helped us in those days of snow making phone calls to find taxi etc! One of our fav places in Edinburgh!

What a lovely little find. Stay in Edinburgh but have never ventured in. Glad we did. It was a lovely 3 course lunch for a fantastic price. The waitress was a delight she was happy and chatting to everyone which was lovely to see. Keep up the good service and quality food at great prices.

Went here for dinner with daughters birthday, there was 5 adults and 2 kids under age 2. The staff were wonderful and friendly, talking to the kids and managing to get our order. I have wheat intolerance and asked for their gluten free menu and was I surprised, not only did I have a lot of choice the food tasted amazing. The kids also had a good menu. Our little boys were making a bit of a fuss as they were hungry, the waitress came with bread sticks till the food was ready. All of us had a brilliant time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this French restaurant, a ever so pleasurable experience 5 out of 5 �

Understated chic restaurant. Excellent food. I ordered the tuna capaccio and a steak. Hubby ordered the duck leg. Dessert was lemon tart and creme brulee. Wines were great although not alot of choice if you want to order by the glass. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be coming back soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed our first time at Cote ! We were given a Kir Royale each as it was my friends birthday, lovely gesture. Loved the food, the ambiance and the friendly staff ! Oh and the lamb cottage pie was amazing !

The food and service was excellent, well presented food and totally delicious!!. As a vegetarian I asked I could have a mushroom omelette instead of the vegetarian option on the 2 course lunch menu,which was a mushroom risotto, and they happily made me one instead, with feta cheese.

The shepherds pie my partner had was piping hot and very filling as it came with vegetables & a side of fries... a lovely atmosphere for lunch and great value for money 🍷A lovely long lazy lunch to remember.

Spent the afternoon in Cote Edinburgh today. First time I’ve been there. Lovely food and amazing service that isn’t often found these days. Shout out to Alan, Paulo and Martin who served us today. I work in hospitality and it’s refreshing to find a restaurant that clearly believes in giving great customer service. I’ll be back. Thank you!

Brilliant meal, and not particularly expensive for such a good steak! The staff were polite & attentive. Forgot to bring our coffee with dessert so coffees were free (without us complaining.) We each went for different desserts and they were both amazing!

A bit strange to see the gratuity of 12.5% added on to the bill, but had no objection paying it given the meal we'd just had. Was recommended to us by friends, would definitely recommend it to others!

Great to see the high standards of Côte Brasserie still being displayed despite a very difficult night for the staff with the extreme weather. Our 1st time in the Edinburgh restaurant but unlikely to be our last. ..already discussing our next visit!

All very good. Nice food, and a good choice on the set menu since all 4 of us had different dishes throughout, but the most impresssive thing was that all our servers knew instantly to whom each plate and glass was going. We would go again, and are glad to know others exist around the UK.
