Take away review - Friendly Service, Food was of acceptable standard.
Couple of occasions items on menu havent been available.

Newly refurbished new owners new menu good food lovely clean and cosy place.Excellent service warm and friendly staff.

Had a meal in Cafe Bombay while up in this area visiting.
Lovely clean and freshly painted restaurant.
Couple who took our order couldn't have been any nicer.
For food we had 4 dishes from the tapas menu, rice and nan. We had a mixture of lamb, chicken and prawn each dish was fantastic. The taste and flavours were delicious. Excellent value for money.
Would highly recommend.

On the evening of the 2nd, I ordered some food from here. It told me it would be at my house by 5:05pm, it came here at half past. I was expecting to have a big burger and chips as I was paying £4. I opened up the box and there is a burnt, stale, greesy chicken fillet inside a small 5p bun from a shop. No sauce or lettuce on my burger, no salt, vinegar or sauce on my chips, and got about 8 chips with it!! I would not recommend this to anyone as the prices are rediculous for what you get and they don't come on time so they are not reliable.

Ordered a few weeks ago and they got the order wrong! Said we would get free kebabs next time... ordered again and let them away with the FREE KEBABS! But again order was wrong AGAIN... My partner phoned to complain guy was pretty rude! They phoned us back 20 minutes after to tell us the delivery driver was busy! Asked us to collect the mess they made.. Finally after my partner demanding they take it to us they did.... Although we got told to not eat the old kebabs as they would collect them!!!! That was the last time I gave them a second chance!!! Never again will we order from cafe Bombay!!!

Love this family run restaurant. It is bring your own alcohol which saves a penny or two. Lovely fresh cooked food tapas style. Great value for money

The food came late and when it arrived there were items I had ordered missing. Then I took a bite and it was clear the chicken wasn't cooked. After that I felt seriously ill and had to stay off work for A WEEK!!! Also when I have picked the food up at different times when I have ordered I have been met with a awkward teenage family member who has no idea what he is doing and tried to make a terrible joke about chemistry. I would not recommend this awful takeaway.

Excellent tapas style food, beautifully tender lamb. Would definitely recommend
