Fantastic food and service. If you like fish you will love this place

My wife and I had a magic seafood platter here. Massive in size and a snip at £50. The only time we have had anything of similar size was on the Champs-Élysées and that was double the cost.

Superb sea food that you know is super fresh (comes in daily from their own boat). A great view of the harbour too - if the weather permits you to sit outside...

So disappointing... after years of warm welcome and good food, it looks like cafe fish is no longer the place to go in Tobermory.
Went twice the same week with same conclusion: food is just fair, no longer feel welcome at a price premium. Is this the end of a great restaurant ?

No doubt why this little restaurant has received so many awards and accolades, the food and staff are simply amazing. We had their signature shellfish dish for two, and it was simply delicious. It was a smorgasbord of a whole variety of shellfish that was as much an adventure as it was a great meal. Be prepared to get a little messy, but we had so much fun eating. Definitely a must when on Mull.

Fresh fish simply cooked and eaten on the terrace. Great range of fish dishes; we had halibut and turbot but could happily have chosen the scallops, the salmon or the lobster. Service was friendly and efficient and we ate outside on 27 March 2017 with the sun blazing and beautiful views.

Simply put. Outstanding. Looking forward to seeing you for lunch when you reopen.
