Cafe Gandolfi never disappoints, not having visited for quite a few years we booked in last night. What can I say, fabulous friendly staff, delightful food, so tasty!

I love the Café Gandolfi which manages style, without breaking the bank. I make a point of coming here whenever I'm back in Glasgow. Without doubt my favourite place for breakfast.

We loved our meal at Cafe Gandolfi. We each had a pint and I got the Daal. It was a delicious, warming vegetarian meal - lots of food! The caramel shortbread at the end was divine. Both dishes have me wanting more, but, alas, I live in NYC. Might need to order a copy of the cookbook!

Smoked venison and The Smoked Haddie were fantastic. All started off with the Scallops, fresh vibrant and wonderful

A great experience for us Glasgow newbies. The Haggis was incredibly tasty, the atmosphere cosy and service friendly. Would go again for sure.

One of my favourite places to go, in Glasgow. Been fantastic, for four decades. Whether for dinner, lunch, breakfast or coffee with friends, business or even on your own.. This special place ticks all the boxes for me. The food is excellent and the atmosphere warm and wonderful. It's the best!

Had a very bad experience at this cafe, staff were rude and treated us as a burden. The price of the food was far too high for a small bowl of watered down soup and barely any bread. Had to wait half an hour for a coffee then after the sixth ask finally got the wrong coffee and after we told the waiter he retuned with the same coffee but drenched in milk and chocolate. Friend of mine paid £8 for a main the size of a starter. Glasgow has such amazing food that you can give this place a miss. Would only recommend the building for its beautiful glass windows but other than that do not come here. Unless you want to be treated badly given expensive badly cooked food and not have the usual friendly Glasgow experience.

Fab! Was really pushed for time but got seated without reservation in the bar - same menu - and ordered the haggis and a pint of their own. Service was long enough to assure me the food would be good but not too long and it was more than good! The pint was great too. The ladies working the bar and floor there are lovely and ensure everyone is happy despite being very busy. Highly recommend! Lovely interior too - far preferred it to the restaurant!

Really nice and atmospheric cafe. We had Scottish breakfast and black coffee and they were both very good! It is not the cheapest place but it was worth it.

User

Great food, great service, love the decor.

User

Decent Scots fare. Haggis was decent, but not the best. Slightly dry. Excellent venison.

User

Wonderful haggis in a very lovely place. Excellent service by friendly Scottish staff. Table and chair furniture is unique and wonderful too.
