It is with great regret that after 2 marvellous years, Cafe Montmartre is to cease trading.
... Thierry and Anne would like to thank all their customers, both old and new, who have supported them during this amazing time, but unfortunately Thierry's health has been a cause for concern for some time now and he can no longer participate in the running of the restaurant like he once did.
. So once again can we thank everyone who has been involved and enjoyed their time spent at the restaurant over the years and of course without whom there would not have been ........................ Cafe Montmartre!

The Vouchers proved popular, but we do hope to catch up with those yet to be presented and will hopefully look to reinstate them again in the near future!

Went in for lunch today with my sister.Our first visit and we will most certainly be back.The starter we wanted was on the outside menu but not in the new one but the waitress spoke to chef and we were delighted that he was going to make it for us which we thoroughly enjoyed.The main was amazing .and the dessert was a perfect end to a perfect meal.The staff are polite and very friendly and make for a great atmosphere.

Was recommended by family so went for my hubby’s birthday

The staff were so attentive as was the boss

The food was incredible

Will return again and will tell all my friends

Very friendly atmosphere. Beautiful menu and presentation also. The wine and champagne menu is also a good selection. The mussels are to die for very tasty and succulent

Superb lunch yesterday.All five starters, main courses and puddings were fantastic.This is a very special resturant with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service... 10 out of 10!!

My favourite restaurant in Dundee, service is always brilliant, love how the restaurant is warm and cosy makes you feel so relaxed.

The food is always delicious full of flavour and the portions are generous 😀

Love this place . Terry and Anne are great hosts nothing to much trouble . It is small but if it was bigger it wouldn't be so nice . I feel very privileged eating here as the food is second to none personally I think it's the best restruant in town ! The staff are very pleasant and I love it's a French restruant and it definitely is .

Had a lovely meal last night, the two waitresses were very attentive and friendly and the food was cooked to perfection. It was lovely to meet you Ann and Thierry, we had a perfect evening for my birthday treat. Thank you.

Eating here with my french partner, we were extremely impressed. Even by French standards this place is a jewel.



Unlike many Scotish Establishments they are extremely skilled at selecting the right wine for each dish, which helps to create the perfect dining experience.



We will definitely be back, because there are many more items on the menu that must be tried.



Easily the best dining experience I have had in the last 7 years of being in Dundee.

Another great meal at Cafe Montmartre. First time for son and his partner and they were impressed. Warm welcome and excellent food. What more can you ask for.

Amazing culinary experience! The food was made by an artist and the overall atmosphere was just divine. Highly recommended!

A gem of a place, in the cultural hub of the Perth Road. The food was indescribably exquisite, with the most amazing flavours and a very varied menu. Hosts and staff all very personable and welcoming. What a fantastic little restaurant, we'll definitely be back!
