Fantastic ambiance and traditional french food. Steak delicious but lacked a sauce but that's only downside. Rest of food was great.

Disappointing, mediocre, poorly cooked and quite small portions of badly presented food. Overpriced wines - but it is Edinburgh after all.

Lovely French restaurant in Edinburgh. Recently took grandchildren to Edinburgh for some shows at the festival. Booked lunch here as has good children's menu and always vouchers available on line for various discounts. Service quick and staff very friendly and helpful.

Restaurant serving good quality French style food including some typical choices such as French onion soup, escargot and steak and chips. Good atmosphere. Offers French wines mostly plus some Italian. Reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant.

Had a lovely meal last night. Food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Atmosphere was very nice and Leanne was extremely attentive and helpful. Would definitely choose to eat here again

About five years ago this was my all time favourite restaurant but has slowly got worse and worse over the years. They rarely have steaks available to order from the menu at 7pm (!) A lot of the food lacks seasoning and taste and the last time we went we had to sit through ten minutes of one of the waitresses loudly putting the cutlery away which ruined the beginning of our dining experience. Just a shame :(

Fantastic meal and drinks

Well worth the price and the staff are very friendly.

Fully recommend the half chicken the sauce is amazing! Definitely get the fresh bread too.

Can get hot in there too

Menú with not so many options and one of them out of order. Errors in the check of the table in close to me and mine too, and they only had 4 tables occupied in Saturday night. I won't return.
