ordered the wrong curry (my mistake). called as i thought they had given us the wrong order. spoke to the owner who nicely offered to give me the correct curry and a fresh garlic naan. thank you for doing that

My in laws live in newmains and they frequent regularly. Whenever we visit we make a point of getting a shabab, we have also been on Xmas day a few times. Love the food and the staff are always very welcoming. See you on our next visit to newmains!

Lovely friendly staff,lovely clean restaurant,had a lovely meal with my husband,very generous portions,definitely returning in the future

Had a lovely meal last night but can honestly say i have never had a bad meal and look so forward to going king prawns and tandoori lamb chops delish.

Had a lovely family meal here to celebrate a birthday and will definitely be back. Great service and friendly staff. Food is amazing! �

Favourite place by far.... my hubby and I moved from Whitburn to Dalkeith and we still regularly make the trip over as the food is amazing �

Went on Saturday night for a birthday had a look at the buffet but didn't look nice to me so ordered off the menu my meal was nice but there was 7 of us 3 went for buffet they said it was nice the others didn't like there meal for different reasons . To sum up I think it's going down hill not half a good as it used to be .

Been going for years foods good but place really needs a makeover it's looking very tierd and dirty in places. It needs some heating, was In recently wearing a jumper but was freezing. Toilets could be doing with a good clean, floor extremely slippy not good with a pregnant friend. Think place would be busy again if they just spent some money on the place

We had the buffet and the food wasn't of the best quality, cheep n cheerful though. And you get what you pay for.

Seen others going a la carte, and it looked amazing so would try this if I ever went again.

Desserts were the best thing.

Visited on Monday night.....main courses were very poor....all oily sauce and very little meat....hand written pieces of paper of description of meals available lying on floor so had no idea of what was what....first visit back in years, this resteraunts gone downhill big time wont hurry back.

Their customer service is shocking very unorganised we were brought drinks we didn't order after giving the order to two different people. The food is good but the buffet is next to the door so if there is a queue you're blocking the main entrance and the dessert table is in the middle of the room and my daughter who's three kept going to stick her fingers in the desserts :/ which thankfully I managed to stop her from doing

The first time we have been there for years, all I can say is the buffet is sub standard would never get buffet again, was cold, very little selection no labelling so did not know what anything was, people with allergies would be in trouble

Regular customers but were very disappointed with our visit tonight. We were told the starters were ready, but there was hardly anything there. Poppadoms tasted stale and were soggy. Had to ask for chips and naan breads as they'd been empty for ages. Selection of cakes was very sparse, not the usual choice. We're also overcharged for our drinks - charged £10 for 4 soft drinks, then £10 for 3 soft drinks. Seems to have gone downhill, won't be returning anytime soon.

Having been coming here for years, both in the restaurant and as customers for home delivery, I'm shocked at where this establishment has found itself. Have placed orders for home deliveries over past while for significant orders the service has gotten progressively worse. Wrong orders, cold orders and deliveries taking in excess of 1 and a half hours. Tonight this has been topped off with the most horrendous service yet. Ordered delivery in excess of 2 hours ago. Phoned to check up on order at the hour and a half mark to be told wd be here in 5 mins. Still waiting 40 minutes later. Phoned them again at 2 hours to be told they couldn't find our order. Have just told them they can keep it whenever they do find it. Do not order deliveries, no point, it either doesn't come or comes wrong with no apologies at all. They can forget our custom in future. Will order from a less overpriced establishment who actually DELIVER the food. Poor form. And this is from customers who've been coming here for 15 years.....

Got a take away as it is on my way home from work and whole lot went in the bin everything had bitter sour taste and overdosed in salt and was nothing like I ordered called up and was told we are sorry don't understand how it's like that not even an offer of my money back KARMA is the only Indian to go to where the food is superb quality every time
