OUR CAFES

Café Modern One – Located within the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art One, Belford Road, Edinburgh. This cafe has a beautiful terrace overlooking the sculpture garden, makes this one of the best alfresco dining experiences in the city. Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 9 pm; Saturday & Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Counter service.

Café Modern Two – Located within the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Two, Belford Road, Edinburgh. The emphasis is on fresh simple food prepared to order and served to your table. Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 10am to 5 pm. Table service.

Café Portrait – Located within the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Queen Street, Edinburgh. Our top rated cafe is open: Sunday – Wednesday and Saturday 10am to 5 pm; Thursday until 6: 30pm. Counter service.

The Stables Tearoom – Located within Hopetoun House, South Queensferry, Edinburgh. Set within the 18th Century Adam Stables and Courtyard have been extensively restored to their original splendour. The tearoom is open from Easter until end of September from 11 am – 4. 30pm daily. Table Service. Additional Christmas Fair openings too.

Cafe1505 is a gem of a place within the Royal College of Surgeons courtyard, right opposite the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10am to 5pm and Thursday 10am to 6. 30pm

Colonnades at Signet Library, Open since June 2015 Colonnades is already in the top 5 restaurants in Edinburgh on Trip advisor. Renowned for its afternoon tea, enjoy breakfast, lunch and cocktails too. Open 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday and selected Sundays. Table service.
