Very clean and tidy. Got locked in the toilets, had to wait to be let out. Very bad in any emergency.

very good the breakfast was very good, the restaurant was very clean the staff were pleasant and helpful we will stop there agsin its a lovely place.

It was nice for a drop in, it has all you need but just does not go that extra mile, like other Service stations.

More organisation is required. But overall experience is good. Will go again to stay there

Very fine English food and Currys. I did enjoy my stay there, and there doesn't seem to be any time restrictions on the car park. One can stay for as long as they wish.

Most important here: fabulous choice of tempting home-made scones, cream tea, jam, cakes etc displayed on arrival to the dining area with takeaway boxes an option. Served by very friendly waitresses. A surprisingly luxurious dining area for a services...with tasteful Scottish-themed tartan carpet band matching blue triangular backed chairs overlooking castle-style stone entrance. Quiet and nicer than the average busy services Outside some nice parking areas backing onto trees. Recommended.

Small services with a shop and restaurant. Nice for coffee and cakes but cooked meals and sandwich selection weren't what they once were. The approach from the road travelling down could be better marked.

Quirky service area on the motorway. Cheaper than most others and coffee is better than Costa. Shortbread good also. Good Scottish hospitality and an interesting gift shop. Very different from the chains. It even has a very small castle in the grounds. It is a couple of mins off the motorway and leads you back on to the next junction.

The staff were really helpful when I went there with my disabled mother in a wheelchair. They were immediately available to help us get our food and bring it to our table. Top marks and be sure we will return. The fish was really tasty which was an added bonus.

Spent £42 just for 5 meals - no drinks - food is overpriced and absolutely awful mash is dry burgers are totally disgusting the cow must of had a disease! Chips were OK probably the best thing fish was dry couldn't swallow it

Seriously dated appearance and it's not very welcoming. Not much in the way of grassy areas that are well lit if you need to stretch your doggys legs during a journey. The main light in the car park seemed to be faulty as it kept turning off after a couple of seconds leaving most of the car park in darkness. Not great coffee either.

Been in most services in the country, I will always aim to miss this one. In need of a big overhaul here. Very old fashioned
