Spent 2 days here, very nice place,1st time there, will definitely be back.😃😃

The hotel was clean, breakfast was nice, staff where nice. However it could do with the decor being brought up to date and one of the beds, the double, in my room was well past its best. Luckily I had a single bed in the room that was comfortable.

The location was an easy 5 min walk to town centre, our room was fantastic lots of space and lovely 4poster bed, the staff here are very polite and friendly and make this a lovely place to stay. And the food is amazing, would not hesitate to stay here again.

I am reviewing the leisure facilities as I haven't used the hotel accommodation. For a small spa facility this is very nice to visit. The facilities are very clean and well managed. the pool is very nice and there is a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi at the poolside. The changing rooms are a little small but this is only because they are fitted into the old building. the showers are set at a perfect temperature and every thing is again very clean. There are secure lockers, swimwear dryer, hair dryers, and toilet. The fitness suite is very nice, not huge but all good equipment and temperature controlled. The overall feeling is of exercise and relaxation rather than body building emphasis. The foyer area includes a further exercise space and here you can relax with hot or cold drinks and snacks. The staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is of a friendly and family run hotel and spa. Membership is very reasonably priced and visitors are welcome again at very reasonable charges.

Food was fab. Excellent receptionist on arrival. Good pool and comfy beds. Would definitely come back.

Receptionist on arrival was grumpy. Cafe staff great. Rooms not that clean. Marks on walls. Lime scale on shower. Make up remover wipe dried out.

Hotel was lovely. Rooms clean and presentable. Breakfast wasn't the greatest but overall a good place for an overnight stay.

We were a bit dubious when we arrived because the hotel looked like the local nightlife hotspot and the front was buzzing with drinkers and bright lights. We were hoping for a quiet night's sleep. Despite our room overlooking the front it was actually very cosy and we weren't bothered by the noise at all. The breakfast wasn't five star but they did gave plenty of good choices and lovely service. We enjoyed the very traditional ambience too - nothing very fancy but it had authenticity cobsidering the surroundings. Recommended.
