Cairndow Stagecoach Inn

Clean, but didn't have some foods listed on menu. In my opinion, cheese and chutney was no more than cheese and tomato. So disappointing.

Lovely place on the banks of Loch Fyne x very clean and tidy with all you need in your bedroom xx had evening bar meal of Cumberland sausage which was delicious as was the breakfast xx Irvine the bar man (who happens to be from Manchester where we're from) was very efficient and was polite and attended to all our needs x excellent service and we also got some doggy treats for Ginny our border collie xx can thoroughly recommend the Stagecoach Inn xxx

Room and setting was nice but the rest of the experience wasn't great.

Arrived on a Saturday evening. We were told at check-in that we couldn't have dinner until 8pm as it was busy. Fine although it didn't seem particularly busy with lots of empty tables in the bar and restaurant. Went into the bar at about quarter to 8. Asked if we could choose from the restaurant menu but eat in the bar. Was told no. Moved through to the quiet restaurant and had dinner, food was pretty good. Asked for coffee after we had finished our food and was told no we couldn't have it as the restaurant was closed. If we wanted coffee we had to go to the bar. We were pretty annoyed at this as we hadn't wanted to sit in the restaurant in the first place and then to be moved on before finishing our meal was bizarre. No seemed to be the default response to a few requests. A strange approach to customer service.

Stopped here for dinner. Food was tasty enough, and prices were very agreeable. Service could have been a bit sharper, and we weren't sure the place was even open, but once they got going they were absolutely fine.

Great weekend stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and Real Ale on tap from nearby Fyne Ales.

Friendly staff. A great get away from it all place to stay. Lovely view from the lochside rooms.

Beautiful setting. Room small, bathroom tired. Breakfast nice, but staff could have been more attentive.

Fantastic, wife took me here for my birthday in October 2016 and it was brill. Staff are great and so are the locals. Would happily recommend and will definitely be back

Had a good evening in here. Good menu, real ale and selection of whiskey's. Not often you get a well equipped games room!
