Cake In A Box

I have used Cake in a Box for a number of special events including my wedding cake, annual family birthdays and for my daughter's recent christening. The cakes are the best I have tasted and have an amazing fresh home baked taste! The only place I would order my cakes.

I have been getting cakes made here for the past 10 years or so. All my family shop here. Absolutely brilliant bakery with the best victoria sponge I have ever tasted. The cakes you see are amazing and worth the visit alone. The staff are nice and friendly and are always helpful and provide a cracking service.

First class cakes with lovely staff. I ordered a special cake for my husbands 50th from their website, the parcel design. The colours and decorations were exactly as I asked for. And the chocolate sponge was delicious. Definitely worth it.

Shocking customer service! I ordered a cake from cake in a box for my sons birthday, we usually get our cakes elsewhere but due to his egg allergy and our usual cake shop not making egg free cakes we chose cake in a box. I had a picture of an exact cake I wanted and was told at the time they could make it not a problem, we emailed the picture while still stood in the shop and everything seemed great. My husband went to collect the cake this morning to find it was a completely different cake! They couldn't care less! At first saying they never recieved my email although he showed them it from my email sent box. Then they couldn't check their emails due to an IT fault! £85 out of pocket for a cake we don't want but no choice to take as we can't just pick up a cake anywhere due to my sons allergies. And told can't give you a discount as I never charged you for the egg free initially ( this was never mentioned when ordering! We asked how much and was told a price) ridiculous and the customer service after was horrendous! Will not be back!

These are the best cakes. no question. This is my boys wonderful cake they made for me. It was absolutely lovely, so cute. Nothing tasted better than the delicious chocolate, my mouth was watering. My family will be buying cakes from here now, they all want the same as me! Thanks xxx

Just placed an order from the US to have delivered in the UK. If the cake is as good as the wonderfully helpful, friendly and enthusiastic service I got on the phone, then it's going to be out of this world!!

Highly Recommend this cake company. I ordered a surprise 80th Birthday cake for my Grandmother. Having provided a basic sketch idea of what we would like they created this quite amazingly decorated cake creation. The vanilla sponge cake was absolutely delicioius and had a cream and jam filling. Having tasted cakes at other family occasions I noticed right away how soft and moist the cake was compared to others. Im not much of a cake person but I have to admit tasted lovely. The decoration had fabulous colours and detail with a very comical model of my grandmother! Considering all the details I provided were via email and telephone the customer service was excellent, informative and very helpful. Like most people I like good value, I feel I fully received that and I will mostly certainly be using this company again.

I ordered 2 cakes for my sons 4th Birthday from here recently, a Mickey mouse face and a Mickey mouse clubhouse cake. Both cakes were wonderful, especially the clubhouse and the vanilla cake tasted absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended

I bought my Wedding Cake from here in September. The cake was exactly what I wished for, it was my own idea and they made it for me. Very friendly staff who were very patient with me and my partner. Would like to say another big thank you, hope they got my thank you card in the post! x
