There’s still places available to book onto our photography workshop at Calderglen Zoo on Sunday 30th June 9am-11:30am. Budding photographers (aged 7+) will be able to get photos of animals inside their enclosures. £20 per person. Please call Calderglen Zoo reception on 01355 236644 to book. Reviews of the last photography morning included: “loved it, would do it again” and “it was a great experience, will recommend it to others” and “getting up close with the animals was fab”. Book now to avoid disappointment!

All set for the Dino Hunt starting on Saturday 29th June everyday to 1st September. Search the conservatory, gardens and zoo for the missing bones, fossils and dinosaurs to complete our prehistoric trail. Maps and masks available from the reception in gift shop. Suitable for ages 5-12 or younger if accompanied by an adult. Cost £1.50. Good luck! 🦖🦕

Huge thank you to a team of volunteers from HSBC who today worked at Calderglen and helped with a wide range of maintenance jobs within the zoo, park and trails 💪🔨🔫🛠️

Thanks to everyone for joining us at Zoo Tots over the past 6 weeks. I think the photos show the tots have enjoyed themselves! We have another block of sessions starting on 21st August for 6 weeks. We're re-branding to 'Zoo Toddlers'! We're also probably going to set up afternoon sessions on a different day. Would that make it more accessible for everyone? Let us know in the comments! Are you an amateur photographer that would love some close-ups of our animals? Do you know any budding photographers who would love to get some fur-bulous animal photos? We’re offering a 2-hr session on Sunday 9th June (9am-11am) where photography enthusiasts can meet some animals up-close and take lots of snaps. Our animals can’t wait to meet you! Don’t forget Dinosaur Day is back this Friday 11am-4pm at Calderglen Zoo. We have prehistoric mini beasts for you to meet, fossils and dinosaur bones to dig, a dinosaur trail to complete and dinosaur crafts to make. Don’t miss out!

Don’t forget Zoo Tots is on this Weds from 11am for all your animal loving toddlers. Last week we explored in the woods then made our own mini zoo!!
