CLC Consultancy is an educational consultancy specialising in additional support for children and young people who have barriers to learning associated with behaviour that is problematic, anxious /phobic disorders, ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, and specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.

We provide independent advice and support to parents /carers, and technical expertise to professional agencies involved in litigation.

For parents and carers, we help to assess the needs of pupils attending schools in both the maintained and independent sectors, and work with parents and school staff to establish comprehensive packages of support. We also help parents to understand the nature of developmental disordesr such as ASD /ADHD, and to be aware of their entitlements under the current legislation to support services and appropriate educational placement.

Our range of services for professionals includes strategic project work (for example, the formation of a strategy to improve suport for pupils in school who have developmental disorders), staff training (ASD, ADHD, understanding social emotional and behavioural disorders, support planning, understanding the law) and expert witness reports in cases involving additional needs.
