Very good experience. Very helpful, friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Really lovely almost new camper which was fitted out really well with everything we needed for the week. We had a very good experience with Caledonian Campers. The staff were helpful and friendly. We liked our brand new campervan very much en had a wonderful holiday. We would recommend Caledonian Campers to everyone!

They have an inspection that makes you feel like a criminal when you bring the van back, even when there is nothing wrong.

Yet when you point out that the water in the van didn't even work.

And the table was unusable because it fell over when you put anything on it as the wood at the base where the screws go in was all damaged.

No apology or compensation of any kind is offered, they just walk off.

So it's OK for them to provide you with something that doesn't work and isn't fit for purpose but as other reviews show, if you so much as look at the van the wrong way they are going to hammer you !

And just to rub your nose in it, a deposit of £530 is actually debited from your card instead of just being reserved for them if needed, as it should be.

And then you're told it will take up to 10 Days to get back the money they shouldn't be taking in the first place.

And if you ask anything about anything they just throw back at you that it's in our terms.

I would never recommend Caledonian Campers.

We booked a Van for 4 days. The price was around 40 pounds per day. At at the beginning we though we were lucky because of the price. But surprise comes later, when we turn back the Van. It is important to say that we have booked many times cars and always we have had a great experience, but not this time. When we return the Van, the found a VERY SMALL (REALLY, almost invisible) mark on the car chassis. Was very weird because we drive carefully and the ask us for clean the Van in a place next to them. Anyway, the price for that tiny mark was 180 POUNS. So, we paid more for the punishment that for the Van.

I DO NOT recommend this place and less if you do it for the price. The Vans are very nice but they try to get customers with economical prices but then they make up an excuse to pay you more.

Honestly, we feel cheated by them and we are not from Scotland, so we can not fight for our rights.

Had a very good experience with Caledonian Campers. I rented a van for 8 days and the van was first class and in excellent condition. The staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help me when i accidentally locked the keys inside the van during my trip. Highly recommend Caledonian Campers and would definitely use again.

Nice, friendly, welcoming and excellent service - a fair price and very good equipped camper vans. We had a great time!
