Charlie McKerron is one of Scotland's top fiddle players known for playing with Capercaillie, Session A9 and recently the Grit Orchestra. He will be joined by Marc Clement on guitar and vocals and Ross Ainslie on whistle and pipes. Hold on tight! The tunes will be flying! 🎶🎻

We are recruiting for outgoing, personable and hardworking individuals to join our small team at the Caledonian Hotel in Fort Augustus, by Loch Ness, this season. Tasks include waiting tables, housekeeping and assisting in the kitchen. No previous hotel work experience required, just a willingness to learn and get on with the task in hand, working independently and as part of a team. Basic on site accommodation may be available if required.

Here is a wee taster of what to expect at the Caledonian Hotel tomorrow night... The String Contingent live in concert... a real musical treat! Come along for 8.30pm.

What a great place to stay, Chris made us feel at home & pours a mean beer. Christina well nothing was a problem she was always smiling & pleasant. This was the highlight to our Scottish trip, thanks again guys from down under.

We stayed at this hotel while travelling around UK last September, had the best time, met the nicest people from all around the world and the Duty Manager was so lovely and helpful! I would highly recommend anyone thinking of travelling to Scotland to stop off here and stay for at least 1 night! We will definately go back and stay if we are ever that way again!

Very warm, clean, welcome hotel. The staff is very nice and professional, the breakfast superb, high quality of hospitality. Very big and warm room. All georgeus

This place feels like home! diffently coming back soon!

Sitting in the bar, in familiar atmosphere, the wide range of scottish Whisky and Chris with his Know-how about it, all these aspects make a visit awesome!

Our stay at the Caledonian Hotel was lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night! We were greeted with lovely afternoon tea and enjoyed having a pint at the pub right in the hotel. The town of Fort Augustus was beautiful to walk around as well.

Just got home from a wonderful week in Scotland. Thank to Chris and the rest of the family for there hospitality :-)

It will be difficult to find a place with the same great hospitality.

Had a lovely night stay here,clean and the staff very friendly

Guests - all the guest I spoke to said they have been coming back at least annually for the last 10 years (or more). This is a testament on its own.

Hotel - Nice, clean hotel wth spacious rooms.

Food - lovely and hearty Scottish Breakfast served

Service - accommodating, efficient, polite and most importantly, friendly!

People - FANTASTIC! Best hospitality I've received! Chris, the receptionist/ bartender/ mixologist is a great guy! Ensure to drop by his bar for a drink. The cheapest ale in town.

Excellent situation to visit Highlands. Nice and clean room, good breakfast, the small bar and the lounge are cosy. It's a small team with a great service, Chris has been a 5 stars host. I recommend and will visit again.

Excellent hotel with personal service.... Will return again with my Donna very soon

Booked this on the day as we had been travelling around the highlands. We were greeted with a friendly gentleman who showed us the rooms beforehand. Lovely breakfast Great location! Would definitely recommend staying at Fort Augustus!
