After 18 years Aileen, Thomas, Peter and Dot are calling time in the Caley Hotel. We would like to say a massive thank you to all our amazing staff/friends past and present who worked so hard along side us, we couldn't have done it with out you guys, you are all worth your weight in gold and we'll miss working with you so much. To all our fantastic customer and guests, a huge thank you for your support over the years. There have been so many amazing nights in that crazy bar.....thank you for the wonderful fun memories one and all. We now hope that everyone will continue to enjoy the Caley hotel and bar with Dennis and his lovely staff and the family wish them all the best of luck in this exiting new beginning for the Caledonian Hotel. We were there in September and had a wonderful experience and time. Our room was comfortable and charming; I loved the view from my window. We found the staff to be very hospitable and friendly. Our breakfast was very satisfying. We are happily looking forward to returning.

We loved staying here! Family run establishment and everyone was very friendly and helpful. They gave us turn by turn instructions over the phone and once we arrived they gave us local maps and tips on what to do on the island. I highly recommend!

Very welcoming hosts and stunning room! The breakfast smells lovely however I like my extra 15 minutes sleep so haven't eaten anything there! Would 100% recommend. Plus, good football chat! �

The staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was delicious and the location is great. It's in the main shopping center but also a short walk away from the harbor. My room was comfortable and cozy. I was really impressed.

It ticks ALL the boxes that you need when having a break in Skye. I was there for 2 nights 27th Sept. We messed up our booking and they were luckily able to fix it for me... Thankyou!!

We went on to have the most comfortable relaxing stay. The rooms are Spotless, Comfortable and really well maintained. The breakfast was perfect and served quickly. The hotel is perfectly placed to walk around Portree. Car parking is good. The staff are Lovely esp the young girls in house keeping. I recommend the Caledonian Hotel for a stay in Beautiful Skye.

10 of us stayed here on the Summer Solstice weekend 2015. Can't fault the hotel in any way. Great friendly staff, good food (and drink!!) and very clean rooms. Coming back next year and can't wait!!
