Caledonian Moving And Storage

Mr. Howie took my money and everything I own in the world. Delivery was paid for and scheduled for June 2016. He claimed the delivery had been cancelled due to complications he encountered after the Brexit vote and asked me to be patient and promised I would have my belongings returned. I paid him for three years to store them and then a significant sum of money for their delivery to Germany. He doesn't answer e-mails or phone calls. What do you call this except theft?

Been trying to get items out of storage for past month. Wont answer phone calls or emails or voicemails or do the courtesy thing and call me back. Said they were bringing it out didnt turn up tried phoneing no answer tried visiting their depot have moved no update on google. Disgusting!

I'm just wondering if Alec Ferries still is a company owner????

Terrible and frustrating. Promised to repair damaged tables. So far nothing! They won't give me their new address...it's not Possilpark anymore! They don't have the flashy vans you see on the website any more and they never replied to any of my emails.I am planning a visit to the small claims court to get some compensation for the missing items and awful treatment.

I stored my belongings with Caledonian when I moved from Glasgow to London and then arranged for them to be delivered to me in the south of England. The original date for this was in November but I had still not received my items after 5 months. I eventually had to threaten legal action in order to obtain delivery. This eventually happened seven months after the original date.

I sought advice on several internet forums during this period and subsequently received emails from several other people who had similar experiences to my own. There are many better removal companies in Glasgow and I would strongly advise that you avoid this lot.

Moved house for the second time this year and used Caledonian on both occasions and both moves went very smoothly. Also had some items in storage between moves as I was in a rental for 6 Months,
